Public service restaurant is in NOPSI hotel. It is an open room design with the bar to the right and the dining room to the left. Because there were a lot of people in the bar, the noise level was moderate to loud. Once the bar thinned out though , the noise level dropped dramatically. The restaurant is clean and the service was fantastic. We had the blackened red fish and hearts of palm salad. The meal was delicious and perfectly cooked. The prices were reasonable and we definitely felt the meal was worth the price.

The food was pretty good, but service was brutal. We were a group of six - four got food in a reasonable time, one took 30 mins more (just a burger) and one took over an hour. They did comp us for the meal that took an hour (there was another table that had one entree also take over an hour, so it wasn't just us). It wasn't busy - maybe twenty people in the whole place; maybe the kitchen was understaffed?

Food was good. Service was mediocre. Took a while for food to arrive. Wasn't crowed at all. Waiter did attempt to resolve by providing us with a complimentary dessert, was appreciated. Can't say I would frequent again. Not because of this, but because once I have visited a restaurant and wasn't wowed, no need to visit again.

When I booked my Mother's Day brunch I wasn't aware of the buffet , the reservation just stated that it was a jazz brunch . When we arrive we was told that it was a buffet and no jazz brunch ! Walked up to the food it was cold , pastries had flies on it ! Very disappointed, I felt like it was a waste of money and I also felt like the reservation should've stated it was a buffet and no jazz band ! Probably won't return !

Our service was not fabulous. Also, when I made the reservation for Mothers Day brunch, it did not state that it was going to be a buffet. I specifically was trying to book a non-buffet meal. The food was decent, but there was not a huge variety.

We selected this location for a special Mother's Day Brunch - and we weren't disappointed! Service was stellar & they treated all the moms at the table like royalty. Free champagne for all the moms, excellent omelet station & even the babies (22 mos & 9 mos) enjoyed the food. And side bar - NOPSI is a gorgeous hotel! Definitely planning a return visit!

Stayed at NOPSI and had breakfast here our first morning of our honeymoon. I had the very delicious Eggs Sardou. The chef heard that myself and my husband were in NOLA for the first time for our honeymoon and made us free beignets! They were honestly the best beignets we had our entire trip. Thank you to chef Webb for your kindness and great food.

The chicken and waffles was substantial. Just the right amount of spice in the Bloody Mary.

This place is connected to the NOPSI Hotel. Met my parents here for brunch one day. They’d already befriended the Executive (Corporate) Chef by the time I arrived. After tasting the food, I don’t blame them for wanting to adopt him into the family. The food was AMAZING, Chef Adam was truly gracious and personable. You can tell he really loves what he does. The food was so good that we went back the following day. The service was so so, some were really good, some seemed confused about whether or not they should serve us as we sat in the restaurant. This place seems to be re-vamping/reopening and so I’d expect the confusion between the bar and the restaurant staff and service to smooth out as they get back up and running. I am already looking forward to stopping by this place for a great meal the next time I’m in New Orleans.

I can’t believe I’m writing this right now. My friends and my husband and I came this morning for Jazz Brunch and we ordered the pastry board for the table. Our waitress went to the kitchen to make sure they had it available and then came back to confirm. Shortly thereafter, a huge board of muffins, scones and pastries were delivered to our table. I had a blueberry muffin and then I cut off a piece of a chocolate pastry and bit into it. I immediately spit it out because I could taste the mold. I looked at the piece I had left on the board to see visible mold on the outside. We then checked the rest of the board and several items had mold on them. We had the manager come over and she didn’t really do anything, just said sorry and we left. The worst part about this is that I’m pregnant and am worried that this will make me or my baby sick. Please think twice before coming here to eat and if you do, inspect your food thoroughly before eating.

We went here before attending a show at the Saenger theater because it was conveniently located for our walk and not crowded. The atmosphere is nice. We were comfortable and enjoyed great service. The food was disappointing and over priced for what we got. The corn and crab chowder was so salty we couldn’t even eat it. The crab-cakes are overpriced at $26 -only came with two and they were mushy. We did enjoy the crawfish bread and the Brussel sprouts. They were good. Overall, we would not return and wish we had chosen another option in the area. We spent over $100 and only got three appetizers, 2 cups of soup, and water.

Overall my stay was amazing. We just waited longer for our food than anticipated and we saw others getting their food before us that were seated after us. However we will still return to your hotel bec it was a great experience
