This was described as a friendly chill venue with karaoke (it did not have karaoke). There is a free pool table, but they don’t take cash for drinks . Bartender ignored me for at least 10 minutes. I went with my partner and my trans friends to have fun and support lgbtq businesses but the staff was very rude and obviously only let regulars play the jukebox. It was impossible to get anyone’s attention even when I had my credit card out. The space is rather intimidating with a dark back room and no private bathroom that night at about 8pm.
No doorman or security to stop random people from following us in asking for cigars.
I heard the manager say he was closing the ladies room because they don’t want women in there. I found much more welcoming spaces at Friendly Bar, Pheonix, and Lafittes in Exile.
Bartenders should make people trying to spend money feel welcome and make them drinks.

On 06-Jan-2025, my wife and I decided to stop in here for a drink. The ambiance was nice, and the bartender was very friendly. My wife really enjoyed the music and had a great time. It was wonderful to see her so happy.
