We went on March 13 and waited over an hour for the food that was NOT at all what we expected. The waiter can to the table several times asking if we wanted to get something else because they couldn't
Definitely a good vibe, with good food, and great hospitality 🙌🏾
The atmosphere was fantastic! The service was impeccable! Ray was very friendly he was taking pictures asking if everything was ok. The food was absolutely delicious. The best fried fish in New Orleans. The Chef Ray’s Famous Soul platter has enough food to feed three people. We’re definitely coming back!

Food is great and the vibe is there.
Great authentic Nola food. Red beans and rice the best you’ll find in the city. I moved out of New Orleans at fourteen and it was so nice being back and eating New Orleans cuisine. My son had the fried shrimp po boy and cleaned his plate. Service was friendly and excellent. Think I’ll be back for dinner to try the signature gumbo!

Some of the best Fried Chicken and Shrimp we’ve ever had. Wife and I crushed a Soul Platter. Glad we seeked this place out. Totally worth it.

It was a nice place with a DJ. Unfortunately the DJ music made it hard to hear the waitress and for the waitress to hear us. I thought she said the chicken was thighs and salad and my boyfriend ordered fish. (Being able to speak with the waitress was very important because the menus she brought to our table just had some food listings no pricings or pictures.) My boyfriend received shrimp and I got chicken wings. Unfortunately we both got French fries that were undercooked and salad that was warm with one little tomato. He did try to tell the waitress the fries weren't cooked but she didn't seem very concerned. I would have enjoyed some cocktail sauce with my shrimp but I never got the chance to ask for that or was offered it. So it goes without saying this was our first time here and it will be our last.

Some of the best poboy sandwiches I've had. The fried catfish special my wife got was something else! Very nice and great little bar for some great food and memories

Small place on the corner. Wings were bangin! If keesha is there make sure to get her signature drink: Ocean Water. They have a nice covered outdoor area if inside is too loud.
