Restaurant and Bar at The Chloe

I always thought The Chloe was just a hotel & bar, but I was pleasantly surprised to find they have a restaurant with a small but interesting menu!

For drinks I had their signature limelight cocktail with mezcal + aperol. I was hesitantly curious about this combo, but it turned out to be super! A friend and I shared the charred broccoli and cauliflower (excellent, with the Parmesan crème), artichoke farratto (flavored to perfection), and seasonal gulf fish… but the absolute standout (and what we both said we’d be coming back for) was the ice cream sandwich 🤤

We had such a fun day by the pool at the Chloe! It was lively but not too crowded. Food was served surprisingly quickly and was tasty. All staff were kind and helpful! I'd recommend this spot for a pool day.

Wow. Just riding on st Charles looking for place to eat and saw the umbrellas so we stopped. We did not have reservations so the wait was a couple of hours, but were able to sit at lounge areas in bar which was great… just had to order food at bar and they brought to you. Drinks and food were excellent. Bartenders were also top notch. It’s also a 14 room hotel.

Really great atmosphere. Multiple dining areas make it feel very cozy and almost private depending on where you are sitting. Food was very good. Pork Belly was soft with a nice crisp outer layer. The Goat Cheese focaccia was outstanding. Really great flavor combinations. The burger is exactly what it should be. Juicy and tasty. The fries that come with it are pillowey on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The chocolate cake was a great end to the meal and enough for 4 people. Great daiquiris--so classic.

Don't sleep on brunch! Fresh and light salads with warm entree options.
The ice cream sandwich is extremely good. It might be seasonal so get it while you can

The Chloe absolutely delivers. I stopped in for a bite and ordered the burger and dumplings—both were spot-on.

The burger was next-level: juicy, perfectly cooked, and stacked with melty cheddar, crisp shredded lettuce, and a toasted bun with a great crunch. The side of fries hit the mark, and the trio of dipping sauces (especially that aioli) made everything even better.

The dumplings were another standout—delicate wrappers stuffed with a flavorful filling, topped with crispy bits, fresh cilantro, and a rich chili oil sauce that had just the right kick. Unexpected for a burger-and-dumpling combo, but it worked—and then some.

The wait staff was very attentive and otherwise excellent.

The atmosphere is relaxed but refined, with that cool Uptown New Orleans charm. Whether you’re here for a casual lunch or a cocktail-fueled dinner, The Chloe feels like a hidden gem you’re glad you discovered.

I recently had a private event at The Chloe and everything was superb. Service was excellent and completely unobtrusive while being available. The drinks were well-executed, served with a smile, and we enjoyed their N/A selection as well. The food was killer. Book your next private event with them, you won’t be disappointed.

The food, atmosphere and service are great at the Chloe- I dream about the whipped goat cheese regularly appetizer we chose regularly.

Unfortunately, my most recent experience was very disappointing. Booked a 4pm reservation for Friday of the Cleopatra parade for 6 ppl. Was called the day before cancelling our reservation with no other explanation than “unforeseen circumstances”. This left me with very few options that were walking distance to the parade route (everything nearby was completely booked - I had made the Chloe reservation 6 weeks prior). I had out of town guests coming in and it never crossed my mind that I could need a back up reservation elsewhere.

This has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will be very skeptical in the future booking a reservation here without a secondary option reserved.

What an enchanting experience offering for a Sunday brunch. The decor-amazing. The menu-creative and flavorful.

Burger is fire. Dumplings were great. Old fashioned was crazy (good). Espresso martinis 🔥. Wine list was extensive. Manager and hostess were lit. Pork belly lettuce wraps were mid. Overall ambiance was great. Lots of specials & deals. Would recommend if you live here but if you’re visiting I wouldn’t. During the summer, pool is amazing if u get there early (it fills up quickly BUT service workers get discounts ☄️)
