I use to drive from the WB to buy their $3.50 hot fudge sundae every other day.. because the fudge was always hot..and it was "simply the best". I stopped today to get the same.At first.. the lady who waited on me said that there was no $3.50 sundae. I explained that the sign says $3.50 and that I have always gotten that size. Then I was told that it must be the smaller size. So I agreed to get the $4 size instead. I asked for lots of hot fudge on top.. and bottom. What I got was a scoop of thick vanilla with very lite fudge on top and not much on the bottom. In reality.. I should have only paid for a cup of ice cream. Not to mention .. it didn't taste like the years of previous fudge sundaes I bought there.. over the past 30+ years. I am very disappointed because I even gave the worker a $1 tip ..assuming I'd get a good sundae. Disappointed. ?

Honestly, i tried a few different flavors and they were all sooo good. The ice was good, the soft serve was great. The overall snowball was 10/10. Even the experience was amazing. The lady at the window talked to us and suggested things and was just so sweet and personable. I'm definitely going back. Best snowballs in the area!!!!!

When you are looking in the Greater New Orleans food category of sweet treats for the best desserts in New Orleans to beat the heat you might want to pay a visit to Ro-Bear's Snowballs. This is a really interesting dessert business in the Greater New Orleans suburb of Harahan. Many NOLA area locals think that the Greater New Orleans area has some of the best desserts in the world and we pride ourselves on the impressive selection of sweets available. When the temperatures start to rise the New Orleans dessert known as the snowball reigns supreme as the icy cold dessert is the remedy of choice to help cope with the heat. Ro-Bear's Snowballs also offers a selection of ice cream in addition to their snowballs so they definitely have the cooling desserts we crave during the long New Orleans heat waves. My video review of Ro-Bear's Snowballs & Soft Serve is here:youtu.be/QkDR-sNJsEk

Best snowballs in the New Orleans area. The ice is consistently excellent and each snowball is lovingly made by the same ladies for the last 20-years. A weekly must-have. Only serving between March and October.

They are okay. However I got a chocolate sno ball which I paid extra for And when I started to Pat it down with the spoon. I found out that there was hardly no syrup. The middle of the snowball was white. We are moving on to another place.

I am not sure what's happened to this place??? I used to drive eight miles from home just to get a chocolate snowball because they had the best. After being disappointed last two visits I decided to get my snowballs closer to home. The syrup was watered down and did not taste the same, and the ice was coarse the last time I visited.

Loved the snowballs ... super soft ice and great customer service.

They used to make very good snowballs but this time around there were very light on the syrup therefore I could only give them three stars

Whats really sad is that the legacy this snowball stand has is now gone. The chocolate which stood out above any other stand is now gone. The chocolate has been altered. The flavor is not rich and creamy as it once .was. I ordered a chocolate snowball with evaporated milk. When she poured the milk on, i could see it too had been altered. Both watered down. Big change for the main staple of thislegendary business. The economy has changed the direction of lots of businesses stretching to make ends meet, but you don't change your iconic item's taste.Just raise your prices by .25
