This is a bar right next to the Roosevelt Hotel which isn't associated with the hotel. The drink prices here are significantly more affordable than the "official" bar options inside the hotel. They have a great ambiance here and the bartenders here provide great service. This is one of my favorite spots in this area and in many ways it is a bit of a hidden away space not many people seems to notice. Overall this is always a fun spot to visit and pass a good time.

I was in here a couple days ago. The bartender, Elizabeth, was cold, unhelpful, and spent more time flirting with guys she thought was hot instead of doing her job. It also seemed like she was drunk as a skunk, which is not a good look for a bar.

The bartenders are great - fast, friendly and fun! They have a perfect selection of drinks, music and a mix of locals and tourists. They have a pool table, screens and touch tunes. It’s never too crowded here and sometimes they have a live band outside. Make sure you stop by and say hi to Liz!

I have been at the bar before and I remember the bartender was super nice so I decided to come back last Friday. Arviani was excellent at welcoming us to the restaurant, his level of hospitality was very impressive. We were party of 3 people, our server (an old man) came to the table to get our order, we ordered some drinks and for food my husband told him that we would keep a menu to see if we would order something. The server got so upset (we don’t know why) and remove ALL the silverware from our table, including menus giving us NO option to order anything else. Later on, he came back to drop our drinks and never came back to our table to see if we would order anything or just to check on us..his service was terrible and unacceptable for the amount of money that people would pay in this bar. I asked Arviani once again for his help so I would be able to get a check and pay.. Arviani if you see this, we appreciate all your help and keep doing an excellent job taking care of customers.

Visited for a conference. They sat us in a place where air was blowing uncomfortably. The staff’s vibe was very snarky and rude. The initial server was busy waiting on new tables. We walked to the bar not knowing that there was no bar service and walked back to our table after being told. The second server came back and said he was told that we said that a server didn’t come to us. False. So I attempting to be kind, offered to wait for the other server. He said “well I’m here now” in a snarky tone. I’ve been to Austin for several times and this is the one place that was not welcoming that I’d probably never visit again. Drinks were also too sweet. I’ve had better crafted cocktails.

I was really impressed with the friendliness of service here! The bartender and the guy at the door. I came here to celebrate my birthday with a large group of friends after having an horrible experience across the street and they were able to accommodate us with room and allowed us to bring in my birthday cake. Everyone was happy. The plus was there were pool table in the room we were in. I’d highly recommend this bar to have a few drinks and chill.

We ended up here last night after another bar across the street refused to let us have birthday cake… even though we were a huge group and they had a space they said we could have used for it - IF we had reserved in advance… which, by the way, was EMPTY! We stormed out shouting “let them eat cake!”Anyway, THIS place was warm, welcoming, and fun and I’m happy we spent our money there instead! Doorman was charming and friendly and was given some cake, deservedly!Plus: pool tables!Thank you guys for saving the day!!!
