My special person took me there for my bday and it was such a good time, the food was amazing and our server Langston was incredibly kind and attentive.

I had a phenomenal experience. Every aspect of my experience was perfect. The service from every employee was wonderful. We were told we had to wait because the restaurant was at full capacity. We were thanked for our patience. Langston was our server, he couldn't have been better. He was very polite , efficient, and friendly. Took care of every single detail including holding the main course to make sure we finished our appetizers. The food was really good as well. Ruth Chris never disappoints. I strongly recommend coming here.

Everything was delicious I had the Salmon it was delicious. Then we got dessert and the Carrot Cake was to die for. Everyone enjoyed everything. Can't forget the lemon drop martini. Yum!!

EVERYTHING was amazing besides the lobster. We had a party of 5 and 2 people from our party ordered the lobster and said it was rubbery. They each took only 1 bite and didn't eat any more of it

My sister and I had the pleasure of dining at Ruth’s Chris in the Fulton Alley location, and our experience was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by our waitress, Melody, and our waiter, Marcus. Their professionalism and hospitality set the tone for the evening.
Both Melody and Marcus were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and guided us with excellent recommendations. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our dining experience flowed seamlessly. Our orders were taken with precision and delivered perfectly. When it came time for dessert, their suggestions were spot-on and made the meal even more memorable.
Their friendliness, kindness, and genuine care for our dining experience truly stood out. Ruth’s Chris is known for its outstanding food, but Melody and Marcus elevated the entire evening with their service. They are a true asset to the restaurant, and we will definitely be returning thanks to them!

Not sure what happened on tonight but the service was the slowest I've ever seen! To give the waiter the benefit of doubt maybe she was overwhelmed. She disappeared several times throughout the night for 20-30 minutes. We had reservations at 7:15pm and didn't get out of there until damn near closing. We had a toddler with us and asked that his food come out with the appetizers, which did not happen! After finishing our appetizers, we waited maybe 30-45 minutes before we saw the waitress and asked what the hold up was and was told “I had them put a hold on y'all food!” Now why would you do that, we been in here for over a hour and 30 minutes and you still haven't brought the babies food out yet. Now the main dishes come out, but no sides that we ordered came out with them and the baby food still hasn't come out (Mac and shrimp). The waitress disappeared again and we are all just sitting waiting for sides and I cut into my stuffed chicken and it's stuffed with nothing! At this point I'm over this night and ready to go! Should I even go on, the rest of the night went on like this. To sum it up, the baby food came out AFTER everyone had received all their main dishes and sides and by this time it was after 10pm for a 3 y/o, so you know how that goes. Waiting for desserts, waiting for checks, just a bunch of waiting and it was one of our guest first time and birthday! Thanks Ruth!

I visited this location for the first time August 26, 2025. Sarah was our server. She was friendly, paid close attention to details, and made us feel very welcome. When I visit again, I will be requesting Sarah. All of our food was fantastic and any concerns were handled promptly. That is extremely important as life does have its hiccups. The GM, Josh, is top notch. He genuinely cares about his guests experience. I can't wait to visit again.

Ruth's Chris is a staple of New Orleans. My parents were friends with Ruth and had a business up the street on Hessmer when she opened up the location on the corner of Hessmer and Veterans. Over the years we have always supported Ruth's Chris, even in Toronto, Canada, where I travel about once/quarter. The food was superb from the appetizers to the steaks and the wine selection excellent. No complaints whatsoever there. Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. Our server never repoured our wine glasses and paid very little attention to us during our dining experience. She was off messing around on her cellphone half the time or talking with other service people. There was a period of about 25 minutes where she was nowhere to be seen. We would have given this a 5 star but our server was really substandard for what you pay for at Ruth's. Again everything else was great - hopefully this was a one off - we will be back because of the food and ambience - hopefully we will not get the same server.
