Best tacos I've had in Nawlins!! We had the chicken tinga tacos and the chicken tamales and they were very good. They have a nice seating area outside where you can sit after you order your food from the window. There is limited seating inside. We visited twice and the food was good the 2nd time as well. It is made to order so it arrives fresh and hot. Make sure you visit this place if you want some good tacos and a good drink. Wifey had a margaritas and was pleased.

Really good spot. Popped in for lunch...tried 3 different tacos... exceptional! Good quality ingredients and flavors.
Ryan was behind bar, solid dude. Very helpful and engaging. Great patio...nice little bar area inside if that's more you thing. Highly recommend stopping in. Small local establishment that deserves attention. Definitely stop in for food and/or drinks.

Excellent food for good prices. Found it while in town for a conference. The pork tacos were amazing.

Amazing tacos and perfect lunch spot very close walk to the WW2 museum. Food in the museum is just ok, so walk the 1000 yards to get some excellent food. Both the bistec and shrimp tacos were incredible. Salsa and chips were solid. Great flavor in black beans.

Tacos were delicious ! El Sol special was amazing, hopefully they add it to the menu permanently.

I’m usually not a big fan of window-order setups, but the exceptional friendliness of the staff and quick, attentive service made the experience a lot more enjoyable. The tacos were absolutely delicious, and the drinks hit the spot. The overall atmosphere was nice, though the street out front is a bit busy. It would be even better if they added some greenery or potted plants to create a bit more separation and enhance the vibe. Still, a great spot I’d definitely return to!

In the city for a few days, was craving some tacos. I’m Mexican-American and while street tacos are delicious, I am always interested in different spins/takes on tacos. Service was great, food came out in less than 7min maybe less. Say in the patio, music playing, people watching. All good.

I got 3 tacos: tinga, cochinita, fish

Tinga: 3 out of 5. It’s flavorful but needs a little extra kick to bump it up. But everyone handles spiciness different, I like spicy

Cochinita: 5 out 5.

Fish: 4 out of 5

House Marg is strong.

Tasted like cardboard and was to expensive for so little food would not recommend and will never go back it’s horrible

By far the best Margaritas I ever had, the tacos are very good and the guacamole with chips are great too, a very nice environment with very nice staff

11/16/24 Taqueria La Luca is awesome! The tacos are packed with flavor—we tried the shrimp and pork, and both were super tasty.

The margaritas are on point too. They’re made with real fruit juice and come in big servings. We had the spicy mango and the house margarita, and they were a great mix of tequila and fresh flavors.

I got my food to go, but the outdoor seating area was super cute. I’d love to go back and hang out there next time.

You order at the counter, then either grab a seat or take it to go. Simple, quick, and so good!

WOW! Taqueria La Lucha has it goin on here! All orders are taken at a walk up window on the outside and they bring your order to you when it is ready. The chips are light and crispy, matched with the salsa and queso, you have yourself a winner. The tacos are small, but mighty in flavor. I had the bistec taco, that was bursting with fresh flavors. Finish it off with a House Margarita to complete the meal. The 3 ladies that were working here when we came were friendly and welcoming. It was evident they care about their customers and were working hard to ensure everyone was happy. They checked several times to ensure our food and beverages were good. There is a lot of patio seating outside where there are heaters for cold days and huge fans for hot days. They have a small area for indoor seating at high top tables or the bar.
