We had a party of 8 for dinner. We had no choice but to get the feed me. We were charged a 4% kitchen appreciation fee and a 22.5% gratuity which we expected. We paid gratuity on the kitchen appreciation fee. I don’t mind paying that if the service is good. They didn’t refill water or wine. They forgot to serve half of our main course. We had extra food and asked for it to go and we felt like they thought it was rude for us to ask. We spent $1100 and expected better treatment.
We had a delicious last minute dinner at Saba during Mardi gras season. We walked in and were seated at the bar. I love watching bartenders work and the drinks all looked amazing. We ordered lutenitsa, tershi, and muhammara, along with their classic hummus. Tershi was the favorite, only second to the pita bread itself. Would highly recommend, especially if you like sharing food!
Easily top 5 meals ever; the dips were divine, the hummus with blue crab was amazing and the entrees were so flavorful. We got a dessert to go and it was awesome for breakfast the next morning. Definitely a must-visit in New Orleans!
