Pre Covid review! We came here on vacation and I forgot to write a review about this wonderful place. Our flight arrived super late at night and we were starving. We found that this place was open late an near where we were staying so we walked over and got seated right away. We ordered some drinks, gumbo, cheesesteak and a shrimp po boy. This was the first time I've ever had gumbo and let me just say I'm so glad I had it here. Their gumbo is delicious and it will get you hooked. I tried gumbo at almost every place we went to after this and I still like theirs the most. The meat is so tender and adds an incredible amount of flavor to the whole dish. I sopped up every last bit with the bread too. Delish. My BF also loved his po boy and talked about it the rest of the trip. The cheesesteak was pretty basic but tasty none the less. Our drinks were also strong! I hope I can come back again some day!

This place is a hole in the wall...and I love it! Reminds me of some of the wonderful hidden gems I've found in San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland. Overall a loud an obnoxious place but they have great service as a testament to their wonderful city. I had the Cobb Salad, which sounds simple as I was not horribly hungry. However it was delicious and full of fixins! Definitely satisfied me that night. This place doesn't look like much from the street but definitely worth it for some well-priced grub and drinks.

Arrived to the FQ after midnight on a Tuesday with my husband and our two young children. The hotel suggested to come here to grab a late bite and we are happy we did. The staff Michael and Lee were gracious and friendly and suggested some excellent food options. If you are looking for a place away from the large groups and a safe place for kids this is a sure bet. Nice soul music too from the bartender.

The atmosphere at St. Lawrence was on point for NOLA. Casha took great care of us and the drinks were wonderful. I highly recommend the Nutty Friar(pictured left)

Staff was very friendly.. the food however was well below average. My fish was not seasoned well, they also don't have tartar sauce. My rice tasted like I put salt on a spoon and ate it. Brussel sprouts were ok. Mac and cheese was over cooked and not special in any way.

Food and service was great! The beans and rice were good but spicy. A lot of food for the money. I would get the burger if I came back as someone in my party had it and raved about it. Good lowkey spot for drinks and food.

My friend found this place placed on reviews as we tried to go to Willie Mae's Scotch House for fried chicken originally. Their wait was 30-40 minutes so we found this place and boy were we pleasantly surprised. The fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and big. Even the collard greens were tasty. The deviled eggs and chicken sandwich were also top notch
