Saint Manchu NOLA

I passed this place many times so after going to a couple of my favorite spots for some Asian cuisine finding out they were closed. I decided to give them a try. It was horrible. The chicken I ordered general chicken tasted like they could get in salt only no flavor at all except salt. The rice was very, very tasteless as well. Let me show you where it went

I went to eat at St Manchu I paid for my food and my drink dispute the cashier being rude. I believed it was because they may have been a bit busy. Although it was busy most people were grabbing food and leaving but the sitting area was filthy. I went to the car and got my Lysol wipes and wiped it down the wipe was black like it hadn’t been wiped down in years! As I went to leave I asked for another drink to go. I noticed when he went to check me out that the drink that is 99 cent everywhere in America (Arizona Green Tea) they are charging 95% over the original price as I looked at my prior receipt I seen it was $1.79. I asked why is he charging me 179 but the can says 99 cent. He replied this isn’t Walmart. I was confused on what he meant by that but I took it as an insult to my intelligence! (Being that everywhere it’s sold for 99 cent) If the founder of Arizona green tea says the price isn’t going up due to inflation what gave you a right to almost double the price. When an item is advertised for.99 cent that’s what it’s supposed to be sold for! When he buy it at a discounted rate he triple his money that’s not business that’s PRICE GOUGING!!!!! I contacted the company I’m patiently waiting on a response.

A Hidden Gem in New Orleans East – Saint Manchus!

Steven customer service is top-tier! From the moment we walked into Saint Manchu the vibe was welcoming and full of good energy. I’ve never seen an owner do it all—Steven was running the register, cooking the food, and still taking time to greet and engage with every customer. That kind of dedication is rare.

And let’s talk about the food—the gumbo was a 10 out of 10! Rich, flavorful, and made with love. You can taste the soul in every bite. If you’re anywhere near New Orleans East, do yourself a favor and stop by Saint Manchus. Highly recommended!

Raw chicken wings and the fried rice was a joke. It was plain fried rice with 4 shrimps sitting on top of the rice. Customer service was horrible and I will not be returning back ever.

My first time here. One of the best shrimp pastas I ever had. Butter chicken and general chicken is delicious as well.

My #1 spot as soon as I go to New Orleans fresh been going here over 5yrs A1 spot

The food was good. The young man working the register seemed to be a little overwhelmed. He was taking phone orders, in person orders, and bagging orders. But, he seemed to make it work.

It's doesn't appear to look clean on the inside it looks dirty bathroom out of order outside always have puddles of water around the building. The food was okay nothing to boast about

Used uber eats to get food from here. Ordered gumbo which the container was broken leaking in the bag and was suppose to be a seafood gumbo with one shrimp and a bunch of chicken skin.. seafood we were trying to see if there was more food.. now I had the yakamein it was good. But wouldn't order from here again.

I did Door Dash for me and my friends at our weekend vacation home with Saint Manchu. The chicken wings were absolutely the best. The shrimp fried rice was different but good. Door Dash delivery was fast and food stayed hot. I will be going back for sure!
