Came to Sala with friends for brunch and it was excellent. Eggs perfectly cooked, great service and no long lines to get a table. I will be back.

Unpretentious. Friendly staff. Prompt service. Nancy took care of us. Food was delicious! My wife has the blackened catfish with crabmeat. Delightful. There was a side of rice on her plate that was lightly seasoned with garlic, and what tasted like a light, buttery cream. I had the Sala burger. A big Angus burger, with caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, and candied jalapeno slices. Wow! I could not finish my plate. We found another place where we will be be repeat diners.

We made reservations for a late valentines brunch. Thank god we did! It was packed when we arrived. Our server, nancy, was funny and sweet. The food was fantastic too! Theres also a sizable lot so we didnt even need to worry about parking. Overall, its a great spot for special occassions or dates!

Best place in the city. If you haven't tried them you are missing out. The Manager/Owner Craig and his wife Nancy were so hospitable. We had a gathering for 21ppl and they found a way to make it work. The service was top-notch! The food reminded me of a restaurant we attended a few years ago called the Pepper Mill. So thankful for them accommodating our large party.

I started out with the king cake bites and an iced coffee which were both very very delicious. Note, they do give you cream and sugar in your iced coffee without asking which I enjoyed but it's not good for everyone. The food was pricey for what it was. My friends' brunch food was mid to good enough. My crab cake benedict was edible but not good. The poached eggs were more like softboiled, no runny yolk at all, and completely unsalted. The whole plate was extremely underseasoned. The crab cakes were soft and I couldn't detect much actual crab meat in them. Probably won't be back.

Sala is consistently well above average in both food quality and service. We enjoy many of the menu items, especially the Sesame Soy Seared Tuna and Tuesday 1/2 Off Bottles of Wine Night.

My food, the Salmon topped with shrimp and grilled asparagus was unbelievable. My wife had the redfish with crab topping. It was great. The King Cake Martini was off charts. Excellent service was delivered. I'm can't forget the Zeppole- "Insane "

The shrimp and grits for brunch were some of the best ive ever had in the city. The dark, spicy roux was lovely.Parking: Plenty of parking!

I was very disappointed with shrimp and grits. 80% of it went to the trash. The beignets were awesome. The vibe was really laid back, chill, and clean. The waitress (Nancy) had a grumpy attitude. She chose to raise her voice and cut off a customer when asking a question. It was a real turn off. She had 5 tables so I guess she was a bit overwhelmed, but I expect better customer service. No hard feelings.

Just left from Sala where we had a great friend Christmas brunch. It would have been a great outing until our server, Nancy L. raised her voice and was absolutely rude to one of my friends. Nancy L. explained that they didn't do separate checks. That was fine and we had no problem with that.My friend tried to ask Nancy L. for another copy of the receipt. Before my friend could finish her request, Nancy L. proceeded to talk over my friend and raised her voice and her tone was totally inappropriate to speak with any customer! She didn't even let my friend finish her request for another receipt because at no point did she attempt to listen. Her volume even drew the eyes of other guests as if we were being unreasonable, which was far from the fact. My friend was hurt and I'm upset on her behave that she was spoken to in such a manner! I will definitely reconsider recommending this place in the future.

I started coming here when they began to serve Peppermill breakfast after that restaurant closed and the food is the same that made Peppermill a popular place to eat. I've been a few times and enjoyed what I ordered.
