There are many gems in New Orleans East. One being Salads Galore. The chefs and supportive team.members work hard daily, and it consistently shows in the preparation of the foods served to the general public, especially the nutrient dense salads I enjoy as a diabetic. For every time I leave here, I thank God for these vessels of his grace in and to and for a community still so underserved. Thank you !!!

I got the blackened salmon salad, so delicious! My boyfriend got the shrimp, his was good also. The staff was very friendly. I will absolutely be back! I was trying to eat healthy today but those spuds were calling my name 😂

First time there, after passing it up for years. I got the blackened salmon salad and added shrimp and though it was a standard salad… I truly enjoyed it. I will definitely be back to try a wrap next time. Also got me a chocolate chip cookie that was real soft! 🔥
That lady at the register was pleasant and greeted me with a smile.

i have been coming here for a while since they opened today i ordered a salad and i had 2 cucumbers and the salad was not as fresh i paid 20 and the plates got smaller

Finally able to get my free salad. Was unable to because the previous cashier/employee combined another one of my cards with my original card and wrote in instead of using stamper. Owner (Karen) said with an extra loud voice she couldn't honor it because there is a stamper right here and we don't do write ins. Pulling it (stamper) up to show me. Told me the lady no longer worked there because her child is always ill. Not my business.Well I was on the other side of the counter so I have no idea why it was written in instead of stamped. I just know I was not honored for my free salad. And I'm missing 3 stamps from salads on the "new" card that she gave me.Then she (Karen)wants to "make it right" by offering me shrimp or chicken on my potato. If I wanted shrimp or chicken on my potato I would've ordered that. Get out of here and go back to Houston Lisa Dupree aka Karen.Dishonest service. You're the owner and instead of honoring $13+ you'd rather lose $27+ from the many times I have come. I'll take my business elsewhere. I wasn't scamming or frauding you. You scammed me. You should've honored it and then took it up with your employee. Not me.But the food is tasty and to my liking. And the employees are awesome. Too bad for Karen.

Baby if yall wanted me right get fired from my job then just say that because I went to sleep so fastafter eating. I ordered the grilled shrimp salad and added bacon and egg and mannnnn when I ate my food it was so tasty and filling. I was full but wasn't stuffed. The ingredients were so fresh and the shrimp was seasoned to perfection. That's the most comforting salad I ate to the point that I fell asleep at my work desk 20mins later. That thing was GOOD. Definitely not eat that at work again, that salad is meant for my house near a bed lol

Happy New Year!!! Found a GEM in NO East named Salad Galore. Y'all know I'm about black owned so I had to try them out. Not only is this a black owned restaurant, it's one of the healthiest spots in the East! They have things from salads, wraps and baked potatoes. I decided to get the salmon salad and a basic spud (not pictured). Imma just say that salmon was cookedt to the T baybeee you hear me! Very seasoned and well cooked .... not to dry or undercooked. I will def be back to try damn near the whole menu. So next time your in New Orleans East make sure you pull up to Salad Galore!
