The staff is awesome. As an out-of-towner, were friendly and patient with me, and I saw them show the same grace to everyone. I had the beet lemonade. It was delicious and a good price. Inside there’s a friendly welcoming atmosphere. This is the type of place where you could strike up a conversation with the people at the table next to you.

We visited Satsuma Café in the Bywater on a friend’s recommendation, and what a hidden gem it is! Tucked away in a quiet corner, this café offers both delicious food and a peaceful, cozy vibe.

I have a nut allergy and was relieved to find the staff incredibly accommodating. They took extra care to make sure my meal was prepared safely and without cross-contamination. My son had his eye on the green eggs and ham, but it came with a basil pesto made with pine...
