Absolutely fantastic experience. The food was incredible! The fresh pita, the different hummus choices, the service, all incredible. It was a great experience and highly recommend them. Amazing place and coming back to New Orleans in March and will definitely put this as one of the top choices to go to.

Went here for our friend's 50th birthday. Food was terrific and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Must tries include the muhammara and the chocolate-tahini brownie with cardamom ice cream.

The hummus is the best I've ever eaten. The hot pita bread is unbelievably good. For my main dish, I ordered the Israeli salad and added grilled chicken. One of our favorite places in New Orleans!

Great food! Fresh pita and olive oil with Zaatar. I wanted to taste so many dishes so besides great Salatim combo, I had the famous Salmon on the Brussels sprouts. It was delicious with the tahini and additional tahini. The kitchen/server were vey accommodating. Dessert didn't disappoint the Halva Chocolate mousse was delicious. We are definitely coming back next time we are in New Orleans.

Dealing with a soy allergy is tough because soybean oil and soy flour are literally in almost everything. Our waitress at most recent visit was extremely helpful navigating the menu! Plus, the pita bread is soy free.

Food and ambiance were great. Service was friendly and attentive, but time between courses were way too long. Thankfully, the fresh baked pitas kept coming to keep us entertained.

I am stunned at how delicious the food was. I ordered a bottle of romeiko wine from Greece and it complimented the food perfectly

The food was incredible but I think the service and kitchen staff's coordination was a bit off the night we went. It took about 10 minutes for the waiter to get to us and then the pacing of the food was very odd. We ordered the drinks and our main order at one go. And while the pita and the salamita came quickly along with the fried chicken hummus, our main dish (the lamb shank) took 90 minutes to come. While everything was absolutely delicious, the timing between the fishes really threw us off , especially because there were no communication about what caused the delays.

Love this place and this visit didn't disappoint. The fried chicken hummus is wonderfully decadent and we all loved the mushroom hummus. Service was perfection too.

Waiter not attentive at all. We ate outside. Beautiful night. Excellent food. One dish arrived when we basically were finished eating. The response was do you want I boxed. Handled poorly. Never brought more delicious pita

Super food, good service and a very good time..oh good cocktails. A lively atmosphere but you can still have a conversation.food was nicely prepared. We had 5 appetizers. All were delicious. The pita was hot and fluffy. We will be going back when in New Orleans.

We sat on the patio which was very peaceful for a 7:45 reservation on a Monday night. Our waitress gave excellent recommendations and we fully enjoyed everything we ordered. The fried chicken hummus, lamb kabobs and mixed drinks were all wonderful. I Let's not forget the amazing, fresh pita bread. I will definitely visit again whenever I'm in New Orleans.

Sunday Sufra at Shaya was out of this world. what a great evening. the atmosphere, energy and food was spot on. just like traditional Lebanese dining. from the Houmas to the Grape leaves to the Kibbie, it was outstanding. i can not wait for the next one.

This was my second visit to Shaya.. My first time was amazing! Unfortunately, this last visit, I was let down.. Several of our orders were not as described on the menu either several ingredients omitted... Not sure we will be returning... Service made up for disappointment...
