Shift Nola is an outstanding choice for dining in New Orleans, where the owners have put their heart and souls into delivering delicious cuisine. The menu is constantly updated with something new to try alongside regular items. Exceptional dishes include the perfectly seasoned pretzel bites with ooey gooey cheese sauce, the crispy and cheesy spaetzel, a killer bratwurst, and amazing mojo potatoes. The pork belly is fire and comes with what some call the best onion rings. Standout items also include the Hot Mess chicken sandwich on a homemade bun, a grilled PB&J with jalapeños and pork belly, and excellent red beans and rice on Mondays. The fish and chips and wings are also noted. Desserts steal the show, with an amazing strawberry shortcake, Satsuma Bar, and Pretzel Cookie. Paired with amazing beer, it's a great place to grab a meal alone or with a group, offering food you'd find at the finest restaurants but better.
