I’ve eaten here many times - the menu is constantly updated so there is always something new to try (along with a few go to regular items). I love the Red Beans and Rice on Mondays. Go alone or with a group, a great place to grab a meal during a game.

The place isa bar first, restaurant second. Went in there, asked if this was the place, they said yes kitchen is upstairs. Then we sat down. Looked around a bit. Got asked if we are 18+. We said yes. Then they said we need an adult to eat food? After letting us sit down and everything.... Seemed like they didn't want the younger crowd their.

We ordered the chicken burger and the pulled pork sandwich and the food quality wasn’t great. We kind of forced ourselves to eat it because we paid for it. The servers were really nice but I think the food should be advertised as is.

I did the Shift beer pairing dinner and WOW, this is food you'd find at the finest restaurants around but BETTER and you can't beat the price. Paired with the always amazing beer from Brieux Carre, it was a perfect evening!

Exceptional everything! Huge fan of the folks behind Shift. Will definitely be returning. We got the pretzel bites with perfectly seasoned ooey gooey cheese sauce, the savory, crispy, cheesy spaetzel, and a killer bratwurst that absolutely hits the spot all from the Oktoberfest menu!
Ok we went back y’all so here’s an update! Get this potatoes!! The Hot Mess is the best chicken sandwich of all time, Beyoncé knows what’s up! I mean, a homemade bun, crispy, saucy, savory, and perfectly seasoned, can’t lose. And then there’s grilled PB&J with jalapeños and pork belly, what can I say but deliciously innovative. We also looooved the dessert; strawberry shortcake is made better only by angel foodcake!!!!

The owner(s) have put their heart and souls into delivering on their craft and gifts of delicious cuisine to Shift, making it an outstanding choice for dining in New Orleans. The salad, wings and pickled veggies were bomb, but the desserts stole the show. Satsuma Bar and Pretzel Cookie had us reeling. Y’all keep up the the steady pace ‘shift’ towards what is sustainable long-term. For you! We've never had anything from Shift that wasn't great. We recently their brunch for the first time and WOW. Everything was delicious, but my favorite was probably the chicken and waffles sandwich. We've previously had several of their sandwiches, pasta, crab cakes, pretzel bites. All delicious. Check them out and enjoy a great beer while you're there.
