Wow, a 10/10 experience at the Smoothie King in downtown New Orleans! I had to share my experience. I was so impressed with the exceptional service we received from Gavin and manager Kelley.
When we placed our order, we had several dietary restrictions and allergies that made it a bit complicated. Gavin was so incredibly patient and careful, making sure to note every detail and prepare our order with the utmost precision. Honestly, I'm pretty sure he took more notes than I did in my college chemistry class, which I really appreciated!
After we ordered, we went outside to wait, expecting a bit of a delay due to the special preparation. To our surprise, a few minutes later, Kelley came out and found us to personally deliver our smoothies! She went above and beyond to make sure our order was perfect and we didn't have to wait around.
The whole place was incredibly clean, the staff was accommodating and friendly, and the service was super fast. This location is an absolute gem. If you're in the area and need a delicious and perfectly prepared smoothie, you need to stop by and see this team!

Jhai & Joe hooked it up. These two are great. Told me all about the toast and the 9.99 deal with a 20 oz and helped me pick the perfect smoothie for the combo. These brothers got it on lock… Will def be coming again anytime I’m downtown.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the service I received at your location on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at approximately 2:00 PM. From the moment I entered the store, I felt completely disrespected. None of the three employees acknowledged me or offered a greeting—they simply looked at me and then looked away.

When I approached the counter, the employee who appeared to be new signed into the register with little enthusiasm and asked, “So what can I get for you?” in a dismissive tone. As I began placing my order, she seemed unsure of how to proceed and called over another employee. This second employee approached with a visibly negative attitude, questioned my order, and when I corrected her, she rolled her eyes and walked away.

I attempted to continue my order, but the new employee struggled how to substitute an ingredient. Another employee was called over, and her attitude was unacceptable. She informed me that I couldn’t make the substitution—even though I have done so regularly in the past. During this exchange, a forth employee briefly appeared from the back, looked out, and then disappeared again without offering assistance.

This entire experience was incredibly disrespectful. The behavior of these employees was unprofessional and insulting. Based on this interaction, I will not be returning to this Smoothie King location and hope that this matter is addressed appropriately.

Run an audit on this place, they steal from customers. Adding tips to the total hoping we won’t notice. We noticed and they instantly got defensive, called their manager saying “a customer tipped us but now they want a refund” trying to cover themselves. Drinks made after this, so you can imagine how they tasted.
Threw them away. Low brow unprofessional behavior.
