Honestly, I was disappointed. The food was good but took so long to come out. The staff was nice, but the service, too, was very sparse. Good place to go in a group as they have large tables, but far from a date-night spot. Veery loud.

Fantastic friendly service. Excellent Aglio e Olio Al dente pasta, sausage and sauce are delicious and just right spicy not overdone. Nancy had the Alla Vodka, it was also excellent. Each dish was enough for 2-3 people. Thanks Marvin for the great service. You put our visit over the top!

We went to Sofia for first time and it was AMAZING, no just the food, the service, the vibe and the drinks were so good. We’re visiting from Houston and we went to Sofia with no expectations and honestly this restaurant overpassed our expectations. Can not imagine all the hard work behind this place, the menu is very well elaborated and more than that is the amazing staff they have. I’m definitely coming back to NOLA just for this place. We ordered the pork belly ( was so good that we had to order it twice), spek pizza was 10/10 and the pesto pasta was fabulous also the desserts were amazing and the drinks were delicious. We definitely enjoyed every single bite and sip. Loved everything about this place. Thank you for this gratified experience!! Also I have to say that we have been in many 5 stars restaurants and even Michelins restaurants and this restaurant the only thing they’re missing is just the “Michelins title” because the food and service they already have it. The community of New Orleans should be proud to have this local restaurant!!

Amazing food. As an European I value attention to details in my food. This New Orleans place is closest thing to being in Italy.

Arriving late into NoLa on a cold Sunday night and my buddy and I wanted to grab a quick dinner but most of the NoLa resturants I had marked were closing at 9pm. Sofia was open til 10pm so we popped in there around 8:30pm. Glad we did, as we were one of the last parties taken as they decided to close a little early.

We split a pizza called The Spicy ($24) which was absolutely great. We almost got the marghareta and I wish we would have since the crust and cheese were perfect it really didn't even need any toppings. We wanted a protein so split the short rib pasta ($30) which we were a little less than impressed with. Again, the noodles were excellent but the dish just seemed to be a saucy mess overall.

Didn't love the unexpected 4% kitchen appreciation fee on my check but I will say the service was good and I'd come back here regardless.

Food was good, however, their menu clearly states that a 4% surcharge will be added so their kitchen staff can have a livable wage...why don't YOU pay your kitchen staff a livable wage???

This is hands down the best food I have ever had in my life. From the time I walked into the door to the time that I left the service and food was phenomenal! If you are looking for a place to eat this should be number 1 on your list. The waitress that served us, Christy, was awesome and made sure we had the best experience possible.

My wife and I had a great time there with friends of ours plus there was a DJ that was playing some swanky R&B tunes , nice set.

My first dining experience in New Orleans and it did not disappoint. My wife and I are visiting from Milwaukee and this restaurant was high recommended online. Excellent food, beautiful restaurant. Can't forget to show some love to Myles our server. Great guy who made our experience even more pleasant. Great food, great service....Thank you.

The service was slow. It took 15 minutes to get our drink order. Our entree took so long we finally gave up and left. The manager stopped by to apologize for the slow service but only offered something for us on our next visit. Don't plan to visit again.

We had the best night, and I’m still talking about it. The drinks at the bar were outstanding. beautifully made, perfectly balanced, and genuinely memorable. I don’t say this lightly, but it was some of the best cocktail service I’ve experienced in a long time. The food was just as impressive: the kale salad was fresh and flavorful, the piada was delicious, and the lamb was cooked perfectly and absolutely incredible. Everything felt elevated, intentional, and worth coming back for. Highly recommend especially if you can sit at the bar with Jeremy.
