Walked a half hour to get here and you're closed when EVERYTHING indicates otherwise. Run your business!
Do not order the seafood. I made that mistake and the shrimp were inedible with a VERY strong fishy smell. Meatballs were good and my husband enjoyed the shortrib although it was very pricey. In the end they gave a discount for the shrimp but in my opinion should've comp'd the whole dish, hence the low score.

This restaurant feels like a “money grab” kind of spot. One of those trendy kind of spots where you’re paying way too much for way too little. Food was tasty overall, but very salty. Drinks were delicious. Restaurant was way understaffed for the crowd. Service was very friendly, clearly excellent servers being run too hard. Portions were WAY too small for the prices. Entrees are less than appetizer size, barely small plates. No sides come with anything, it’s all a la carte. Pizza was good, flavor-wise, but crust is very undercooked, a sign of an oven that’s not hot enough. Overall the whole place feels like they’re trying to save every penny, but overcharge for everything. To top it off, they charge an extra automatic “service fee” to pay the kitchen staff? Crazy. Save your money; there’s good Italian in New Orleans, this is just a money pot for someone.

I’m not sure if we just ordered the wrong things, or if they’ve had a serious downgrade in quality since I went there last. I came for a galentines day dinner and everything was pricy, the pasta was small, and the pizza was extremely oily and not very good. Since going there, I spoke to my other friends who have gone and they are also largely unimpressed. I understand if my experience was a one-off but it seems to be pretty consistent among my peers.
It also took a long time to get served, and at least 15 minutes to get our order taken. Aside from that, our server was lovely. There was another table that was taking flash photos every few seconds for nearly 25 minutes, and this was with big dslr cameras not just their phone so it was VERY bright. It was honestly headache inducing and incredibly irritating I even heard the table next to us (seated kind of close) mention it. When we mentioned how much it was annoying us our server went over and asked them to stop, which was very nice. They did continue to take photos a little bit later but that was with a birthday cake and lasted a far shorter time than before so in the grand scheme of things it was fine.
I wouldn’t recommend the: Ragu (especially if it has duck in it), commendatore and Speck pizza, house salad, and sardines.

Food was fantastic - ricotta dish for an appetizer was delicious, pizza and cacio e pepe for mains were cooked perfectly! Server seemed like she was having a bad day, not the friendliest despite our best efforts which kinda ruined it for us. Outdoor seating was much quieter than inside, covered but on the street so every time a car went by it slightly unnerving but we didn't mind too much.

Came here to celebrate my sisters birthday. It missed tonight, normally I’d give this place a 5 star review but the quality and portions have gone down significantly… the alla vodka was insanely spicy tonight… for $200 + for 4 entrees and you leave still hungry…. Something is wrong..

I always recommend Sofia's it's a great place. Only reason I didn't put 5 stars is because the last couple of times I've been there they were out of what I wanted to order, which I believe was the seafood dish. However, I've never had anything there that wasn't really good. And it's a great atmosphere. Good pizza too.
This restaurant is very crowded and extremely noisy and expensive. All dishes are not that great and very small quantities.
We sat outside on the curb tent. Which very dangerous as cars were passing by with high speed. Again, It’s a popular and must visit one time to find out yourself.
Vegetarian options: Not much.
Parking: Not easy to find parking.

overrated. The chicken seemed like lean cuisine meat and meatballs tasted like frozen meatballs. The actual pasta was very good, definitely don’t add protein. The appetizer, ricotta, was good.

I enjoyed my dinner there. The pizza was good but i wish the bottom was cooked just a bit longer. The polenta was very good. The aranchini were ok/good. Flavorful sure but not like the ones I’m used to in Italy or new york. The pesto pasta was the best part. Delicious. The service was great. It was very loud for me. I’m not a fan of a loud voice or yelling across a table to talk.

The food was phenomenal! The atmosphere was great ! The service was not really good however. I understand that waiters have a long day and that I can be hard but please do not rush and be rude to our party. Mikayla was our waitress idk if you were having a bad day but you rushed us queen not appreciated.

We came in for a late dinner after a long day of flying. We had come here a few years ago and were excited to go back!
We got cocktails that were great (Lavender Haze and Sofia Old Fashioned) and fairytale eggplant for an appetizer (the pesto was amazing)
The real stars were the pasta entrees. We got the vodka pasta and the cacio e pepe. They were both amazing and would easily come back there just for more of those.
There was an incident that was beyond the restaurant's control, but the manager came over and wholeheartedly apologized. We understand that things happen, and really appreciated the customer service. Will definitely come back next time we are in town.
