Deafining crowd, terrible service ( forgot a course but charged us for it) , long wait for a table that was reserved weeks in advance. Might have been popular in the 19 th century but not today. Never again and we love NOLA

Clearly Antoine's is riding on a long history and tradition, but the food was barely edible. The eggs in the omelet were rubbery. The shrimp were overcooked. The musicians going from table to table for tips was in poor taste given the high prices. The dress code was not at all enforced so it felt like going to Disneyland with people in shorts, t-shirts, etc. after we put effort into dressing properly. Wish we had skipped this and done something else for my husband's birthday.

Our party arrived 6 minutes early. I asked the hostess if we could be seated as we had an elderly gentleman with mobility issues who was not stable. Laughably the hostess directed us to the bar located in a separate room across the restaurant. Once in the bar, the only table was the furthest away. The hostess then forgot she sent us to the bar. I went back to the hostess stand and she had us seated, in a dining room farthest away at a table in the back, farthest away. No consideration for an elderly person who was struggling. The waiter was condescending. Patrick was the only plus that salvaged the evening to raise my rating above 1 star. The meal was mediocre. Baked Alaska was embarrassing compared to others in high class restaurants. Shame on you Antoines. You have competitors, do better. Will not be back. It has certainly not maintained its stature as a grand restaurant.

My friends and I ate there on March 22nd for lunch. The $25 3 course Spring Special was enjoyable. The food was very good. However, there was one other item that was absolutely terrible. We ordered the soufflé potatoes as a beginner course. I've had them in the past and they were delightful. They should be light, crisp and hollow in the middle. What they served (and I refused) were a few flat soggy, extremely greasy pieces of potato. The bottomless mimosas/sparkling wine/rose' was a good value as well. Our waiter was adequate. I would not have him serve me again. But the gentleman who was his assistant was marvelous! He was attentive and engaging and was the one who really took care of us. I would definitely go back as, overall, it was an enjoyable afternoon.

Very poor experience dining at this NOLA institution. Going to chalk up the night to the restaurant having an off night. Service was not to the level that one would expect from an upscale establishment. Manager seemed oblivious to the complete breakdown of the restaurant.

So disappointed in the menu. The reason we loved Antoine's was for all the different oysters, the alligator soup, heart of palm salad. It was a very big let down to say the least. I swore I would never go back after going for 20+ years on the Friday before Mardi Gras and then being told last minute basically that it would never happen again. We were always there for Christmas Eve with our boys. They are now grown with children and it's sad that they want experience this. The icing on the cake for us last night was the dress code or I guess I should say lack thereof. Are you kidding me, men in shorts and tennis shoes. I guess Galatoire's is basically on only old school New Orleans restaurant left in Nola. What ashame to see this wonderful establishment stupping to this level??. We have been going to Antoine's as far back as when Marshall was our waiter. Just sad that it has come to this. My honest feeling. We have a dinner booked there in a few weeks and not sure that we will be back after that. Hopefully that dinner will be a fantastic experience.

I've been to Antoine's many times. I consider it a must visit in New Orleans. Last night I was underwhelmed. The food was good, but the service was not only bad for Antoine's , it was less than I'd expect from a poorly run fast food restaurant. Sadly may not be a “must visit” next trip to NOLA

Very bland food. Very limited menu. Though website states business casual, patrons came in with exercise gear, shorts, t-shirts and tennis shoes. Very concerning for us being guests of the City.

Service was a bit slow and food was mediocre. We finally sat 25 min after our reservation time, and the manager accidentally took my glass of champagne when we sat that still had a few sips left. Our server was very sweet and delightful, though.

Overall overrated experience. It was our servers first few shifts which is fine but his trainer/shadow didn't check in with us once leaving for a disappointing experience and many missed marks. No table greeting(hopped straight to “you ready to order”, no birthday acknowledgment other than the hostess. Didn't properly clear the table or set it right for dinner service. Nobody checked on us through dinner. Cleared plates before asking if we wanted to order a cocktail. For the price there are many better alternatives in the dining experience. Would not recommend or return. Food also is lackluster.

Our servers, Jesse and Latisha, were wonderful and made us feel very special. They were attentive and warm and welcoming. We had the shrimp Romoulade and the crab appetizers, ,which were excellent. My husbands shrimp creole was also very good. The side of fresh asparagus was perfect my cooked. Unfortunately the Pompano Pnochatrain was a disappointment. It was supposed to be grilled with abutter poached lump crab and a white wine reduction. It was very dry and tough with no sign of any sauce. The baked Alaska was not flamed table side and had minimal signs of having been flambéed in the kitchen. Overall an uneven experience but the evening was definitely saved by our two servers.

We were first seated in the front and moved to the back red room (cold, noisy, and you can smell the pot odor from the street when the doors open). From the moment we moved tables, the service was extraordinary and the food was delicious. Our server Alvin and the server apprentice were beyond great. We had a tour afterwards. We will be back.

We had a marvelous dinner at Antoine's made even better by the spot on recommendations from our server. You may be tempted to try the Oysters Rockefeller as that is a specialty of the house, but the charbroiled oysters are the way to go. The gumbo was delicious and we saved room for the baked Alaska which was also great but too big for the two of us.

Great new HH spot when in NOLA. The Hermés Bar had amazing food at a great HH price. The drinks and service were also on point! If the HH food tasted so good, I can imagine what dinner would be like!

Fantastic food!!!!!! The server Chuck is an icon. We were in commander's palace the night before and didn't think Antoine's would hold up. We were pleasantly surprised. This place was great!!!! Will definitely come back!
