Poor Management and Customer Service at Starbucks Store #55386
As a local tour company owner, I’ve brought many guests here—but after today, I won’t be back. I politely asked for a cup of water before purchasing a mango tea, and Bree and Jess, the store managers, rudely refused. Their tone was dismissive and unprofessional, showing no courtesy or respect.
Even after making a purchase, their behavior didn’t improve. This kind of treatment from management is unacceptable. I no longer recommend this location to my guests or anyone looking for basic customer service.
The only reason I’m giving this 4 starts instead of 5 is because the place is always so crowded.
I was thrilled to see a Starbucks open in the Marigny area, conveniently located within biking distance from both my home and workplace. However, I regret to inform you that I will be making a 10-minute detour to the Clearview location instead, as I will never patronize this particular store again, and I strongly recommend that others refrain from doing so as well. Over the past three days, I have attempted to make this location a regular stop, but each visit has left me disappointed. The drinks, priced at $10 or more, lacked flavor and were carelessly prepared, resulting in a sloppy presentation. The staff displayed a lack of service skills, making it evident that serving customers is an inconvenience for them, treating our business as a bothersome interruption.
Today, however, was the breaking point. I received a sandwich that was ice cold in the center, featuring the wettest, borderline raw, and most unappetizing meat, while the bread and cheese were rock hard. Someone packaged this meal and had no qualms about serving food that is clearly below standard and poses a potential health risk.
I urge you to consider supporting Baldwin & Co. across the street, a local business that genuinely values and respects its customers by maintaining a high standard of service.
Messed up my coffee. Understaffed. Took 23 minutes to get one coffee. Everyone waiting was upset.
Employees are deliberately not interested in customers. I waited 1 hour and 7 minutes for my order. Employees who try not to make eye contact with people should be “fired”..
Waiting while two baristas just loudly complain about work in the back instead of helping the one person actually working.
I was in the restaurant when a young lady walked in trying to pick up a DoorDash Order. Behind her followed a lady I seen almost hit her car. The lady walked straight up to her with some smart remarks. The lady moved away from the one who emerged hit her car after the store. Clerk said you can't respond to her that way. Will you work for starbucks. The lady responded as far as I know. I signed a contract and i'm an independent contractor and you don't pay my check. The employee in return said you will not be picking up this order. The lady did everything she could to avoid any conflict and even left the restaurant without picking up her order for the customer. The employees here are rude to the drivers. I seen that firsthand I was in the restaurant for about forty five minutes. With that being said, I will not be returning back to this establishment. The employees need to treat everybody with respect instead of trying to cause concert, that did not need to be. The employees that work at this establishment are not above the people who are delivering for them. Then man should not treat the drivers as if he was their bosses, Because that is not true. I am so disgusted with this place. I watched him get multiple orders wrong and act like he did nothing wrong. He also acted like the customer was the one at fault? Hire new employees and fire The stupid ones that think they are God almighty it's so much authority. They control everything when they really don't know what they're doing!
Last week I had the worst experience I could have had at this location. Week after week they messed up on my drink. I reported the matter each time and from my understanding the reports were reported back to the store. On last week I ordered a drink and again it was incorrect. She then lets me know that if I’m going to continue to have an attitude I can go to another location. I was so confused about her rage being that I only do mobile orders and co-workers have picked up my order each time. I have never gone into the location with any frustration. This location use to be the best but now it truly sucks!!

Great coffee in the heart of the marigny. Update…very disorganized baristas in this location. They have the appearance of not caring and being rude with their tone and behavior. They need a leader and a manager.

I am done with this location. This is the third time the batista has been too busy flirting to make my drink correct. The second time it took 3 tries for and oatmilk chai and today they said just forget the foam and take what I give you. Doesn't the seasonal oatmilk chai come with cold foam!!!! This is just horrible.
Always a great way to start my day.
Workers are very slow and take their time especially during a rush!
