What Asian restaurant tries to save money by serving you tiny amounts of rice? Rice is the staple of Asian cuisine that is usually the MAJOR portion.

Both the food and the drinks were excellent. We like that we can choose the level of spice--we were conservative and ordered two dishes medium (cashew chicken and red curry) and one mild-medium (garlic beef--can't remember the exact name). We would definitely go with medium or possibly even try the next higher level for one of the dishes next time (we do like spicy food). Joe, our waiter, was very helpful and pleasant. We'll definitely go again.

Food was great, strongly suggest a curry. Great ambiance. Service could have been better - we waited a long time to close out. Would go again, though

Wanted to like it - the new space is very attractive. Unfortunately the combo of Soulless food, reprehensible desserts, middling service make me say "Don't bother"

Bar staff needs an attitude adjustment For real Service can make or break a business and to be so miserable- find a new career Food was good...not amazing...good Beautiful atmosphere

What a mess! I've been a couple of times before and really like the food but wow! I can only think it was too busy, causing the service to be really poor. I can understand if it's crazy busy and the waiter acknowledges he's swamped, but it's as if we were a pain for them (waiter and hosts) once we sat down. It would be better to let diners know the challenge prior to seating vs. that kind of treatment. We could have changed plans easily and come back at a time that wasn't so chaotic.

SukoThai on Magazine St. recently moved to a new location on Magazine- a lovely bright space with abundant natural lighting during the day; a separate bar and dining room with enough seating to avoid a long wait for a table. I tend to order the same thing every time I go, which is something that I need to change. So my review is limited to the the always delicious Thai tea and Khao Soi noodle soup with seafood. Khao Soi is Chang Mai yellow curry filled with yummy egg noodles, crunchy noodles, red onion, pickled mustard greens and your choice of protein (I always get seafood). This is a consistently delicious dish that has a stronghold over me at any Thai restaurant. The service is always quick and friendly. Street parking is mostly easy in the area.

Disappointing Experience at Sukho Thai due to terrible service. Our visit to Sukho Thai on Magazine Street left much to be desired. The waitress/bartender was fantastic, but the kitchen and manager repeatedly botched our order. It took over 20 minutes to reheat up our food as we were waiting for the rest of it, and appetizers arrived after our final entree. Despite decent food, the overall experience was marred by the restaurant's poor service. The manager, engrossed with other tables, neglected ours. We never had a chance to get the errors fixed. We tipped our waitress, but a regrettable evening at Sukho Thai has left us wishing for better.

We love Sukho Thai and frequented their old location nearly weekly. The new location is beautiful. They have had such a big boom in business, which is great! but feels like they need to make up for it by hiring more staff. The host/ess seems to have too much to do away from the front door while the people waiting have to cram around the door awkwardly since there's no dedicated waiting space. Otherwise, great experience.

Most unauthentic thai food there is in Nola, gave these guys a couple tries. Absolutely do not order any fried rice. Portions are tiny.

Great customer service. Visited Thailand a few years ago and can definitely compare Sukho to the authentic flavors.

Great ambiance and service. I had the Drunken Noodles with chicken with "hot" heat. It was delicious! And hot. Highly recommend!
