We have dined many at SukhoThai—mainly at this Marigny location. Our waitress during this experience was particularly helpful and attentive, and the food was quite good and flavorful. two in our party ordered the Kwan Yin cocktail, a Japanese whiskey based drink that we have ordered many times before. However, this time, it had a strong cinnamon flavor that everyone at our table thought was Fireball. We discussed, wondered if they were out of the Japanese whiskey and the bartender naively substituted with Fireball, or we just got the wrong drink. I mentioned our dissatisfaction to our waitress who apologized and swiftly consulted with the bartender. The bartender came to our table with the Japanese whiskey bottle, informed us that the drink was made with the particular Japanese whiskey; with an unnecessary condescending tone, she told us that they not only did not have Fireball in the restaurant, but they did not have any cinnamon. She then looked away, dismissively, as I pointed to my glass that may have been missing two sips. Ultimately, they comped the two drinks (even though my spouse finished his and we told them comping was not necessary). Still, the haughty attitude and unsolved mystery of the Kwan Yin Fireball, dampened this experience. We will be back, but we will be cautious about the cocktails we order.

Had an early Saturday night couples date. Loved our table, server, and food. It's consistently good and has tons of options on the menu. We will be back!

For a party of 5 we had 3 appetizers, 5 entrees and 4 desserts. Everything was fresh and delicious. Best Thai food in the City. Love it!

Outside of the restaurant doesn't look like much but inside the decor and ambience are very nice. Service was excellent and so was everything we ordered. Prices were very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Food and service were outstanding! We found this place our last night in New Orleans. I wish we'd found it sooner.

SukoThai food is very fresh, everything on the menu we hoped to see. We had papaya salad, Tom yum soup, tempura eggplant and tamarind shrimp. All well prepared and served quickly. Coconut ice cream for dessert was a rare treat. The restaurant was short-handed the night we were there. Used plates sat on our table a long time after we finished. Not appealing. On the plus side, the Marigny location is not a huge place and because we had a 6:45 reservation it was quiet in the dining rooms. Music was of the electronica, disco-type (why always that??!!) but it was on a low volume so tolerable. We will come back.

I had dinner there last night. The food was pretty good and my server was very nice. However, I ordered the tamarind whole fish. On the menu the price is stated and says that the fish is market price. The owner's wife took my order and never explained to me that the price of the fish would be a separate charge that you pay in addition to the price of the dish. Nor does it state that on the menu. When I got the bill I was shocked to see two different charges that read like I was paying for two entrées instead of one. I literally paid the full entrée price for the sides that came with the fish Then paid a separate price which was even more than the entrée itself for the fish. When I showed the owner's wife she said no, this isn't right, don't worry I will fix it. But she then spoke to her husband who came and explained that even though it isn't specified on the menu and his wife should have explained when she took my order, it was the price and they wouldn't change it. I've never experienced or heard of anything so absurd. I felt completely robbed! Thankfully the waiter was kind enough to give me a discount even though the owner wouldn't. I will never go there again.

Once again, we enjoyed an absolutely outstanding dinner! The food, service, and ambiance is among the best you will find in New Orleans. Super great value as well. Love this restaurant 😍 Thank you, Tasheika, for the selection recommendations.

Food and cocktails were excellent. Service was adequate. Waitress was more interested in eating her dinner behind the bar instead of taking our order. Once we were able to wave the waitress over, we ordered and received our food quickly. Atmosphere is very nice.

The curries we had were incredible, flavorful, and induced mmmm sounds from everyone. We had Panang & Pineapple. The Sake specials were great, make sure you have lots of people if you get the 24oz portion!

Unfortunately our mussel appetizer was not good at all. We didn't say anything because we didn't want to ruin the vibe, but eek.

Our waiter was kinda rude and seemed like we inconvenienced him. The other waitress with dark curly hair and freckles checked on us and was super kind. (We'll request her next time!)

One of the owners also came by the table. He was very friendly.

We'll definitely be back!
