We have dined many at SukhoThai—mainly at this Marigny location. Our waitress during this experience was particularly helpful and attentive, and the food was quite good and flavorful. two in our party ordered the Kwan Yin cocktail, a Japanese whiskey based drink that we have ordered many times before. However, this time, it had a strong cinnamon flavor that everyone at our table thought was Fireball. We discussed, wondered if they were out of the Japanese whiskey and the bartender...
Outside of the restaurant doesn't look like much but inside the decor and ambience are very nice. Service was excellent and so was everything we ordered. Prices were very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food. Highly recommend this restaurant.
SukoThai food is very fresh, everything on the menu we hoped to see. We had papaya salad, Tom yum soup, tempura eggplant and tamarind shrimp. All well prepared and served quickly. Coconut ice cream for dessert was a rare treat. The restaurant was short-handed the night we were there. Used plates sat on our table a long time after we finished. Not appealing. On the plus side, the Marigny location is not a huge place and because we had a 6:45 reservation it was quiet in the dining...
