We selected the Peter and Paul for a single night and it was worth the time spent. A historic, warm and lovely facility and room. The hotel is well located and the staff where very professional. Our room was as described when we booked and it was very comfortable. We would recommend and stay again.

Beautiful and clean hotel- full of character and the staff were really helpful. Especially Christopher (I think I have his name right) who went above and beyond to talk about NOLA, give food recommendations and help us book into a swamp tour when we had difficulty last minute. Really helpful and loves his city. Location perfect. Really unique place to stay- glad we spent that bit extra for a memorable trip for us all

My husband and I chose Hotel Peter and Paul for our anniversary trip to New Orleans. As a lover of all things old, antique and historical, I was super drawn to this place! I was not disappointed! This place was gorgeously restored and soooo beautifully decorated! I hate to almost describe it, you just need to stay here! As far as hotels go, it was definitely one of the nicest my husband and I have ever stayed at! There were soo many nice touches and beautiful details. The rooms were stunning, spacious and felt very clean! The staff was very helpful and friendly. You could tell that they truly want you to have a wonderful stay, which was refreshing. This hotel was a peaceful oasis in a bustling city. But at the same time, it’s quaintness allowed us to feel extremely immersed in some of the culture that makes New Orleans soo unique. Staying in the schoolhouse, We enjoyed walking next door to the coffee bar and also to the icecream shop! Sitting on the porch of the icecream shop with the gas lit lanterns above head just made us feel like we had taken a step (or two) back in time. I could go on and on, but in short, we will never visit New Orleans without staying at this exquisite hotel. If you are considering it, consider this review your sign to just book it!

For our 1st time to New Orleans, Hotel Peter and Paul captured the history of the city and is very walkable to most of the highlights. French Quarter, cemetery tours, Bourbon St. and Frenchman St. all within a 30 min. Walk. The neighborhood was friendly and welcoming. Fantastic food at Ruby Slipper right up the street and Who Dat coffee (and amazing breakfast!) on the corner. Don’t miss the self-guided walking tour with audio around the grounds of the church and property. Billy at the front desk was a stand-out; he provided sweet little gifts and a card for my son’s 18th birthday (the reason for the trip). We stayed in the Convent which was less trafficked and had a giant bathroom and shower. The ice cream downstairs at Sundae Best is a must have. Pro tip - request a mini-fridge (they don’t come standard) for all your leftovers to snack on. NOLA portions are huge!

This was my second stay at hotel Peter and Paul. Besides the very comfortable and quiet stay, I think my big take away on this trip was how friendly and helpful the staff were. There's just something so nice about coming back to a genuine smile. I'll definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely and unique hotel. All the reception desk personnel were kind and helpful. Billy and Jennie at the reception desk were very friendly. There was another gentleman there who recommended a local restaurant and it did not disappoint.

I stayed in a beautiful room with a loft in the Old School house. The hotel décor is stunning - a subtle mix of antiques and new pieces. No attention to detail was spared or overlooked - from the Italian bedding to the custom blend soaps and shampoos. As others have noted, the staff is amazingly accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. Get the staff to help you find Officer Blanco, the head of security who can let you in the stunning church (now used for events) and can tell you the history of the buildings and renovations - fascinating! My twins are attending Tulane so this will be my new home in NoLa for the next four years!

The employees went above and beyond. Everyone that we dealt with was pleasant and super helpful. When we checked out yesterday morning, my friend's credit card somehow ended up under the bed. Housekeeping found it and I got a phone call from the front desk before noon. They are mailing it back to her today. The room (Schoolhouse Petite) was certainly not small in comparison to hotels in a lot of big cities. Plenty of room for two people to spread out. Comfy bed and nice linens. The bathroom shower was amazing! The area has everything you need within walking distance. The grocery store (two blocks away) has a hot food bar, walk-in beer cooler, liquor store, coffee shop, souvenirs and anything else you might need. Short walk to lots of bars and restaurants, the river, Frenchmen Street and the Quarter. Stay here. It is a beautiful hotel. Thanks to the staff for a great stay.

Very accommodating staff! Of the three buildings to stay, only school house has an elevator. Stayed in the Rectory, very nicely decorated and quiet. Would have nice if room had a mini refrigerator and a coffee maker. The restaurant below will give you ice. Very good parking off street, and a quick drive to downtown, but watch out for the potholes! Historic place, very well done.

Cute shop but the selections are limited and the ice cream was average. I had butter pecan and I sampled a few flavors but nothing really stood out to me honestly

Perfect little small batch Ice Cream Shop. The Praline Caramel is house made and tasty as well. It's also in a cool little spot that used to be a church and it's behind a door that says convent, so that cracked me up :)I did also try several flavors and they were really nice.

The ice cream at Sundae Best is amazing. I tried multiple flavors.. all were great, but ultimately I went with the toasted coconut (which is non-dairy and vegan and incredible!). The other reviews are spot on... It is such a cute shop with perfect outdoor seating in the front, and the friendliest workers. I can't wait to go back!

Super cute ice cream shop! Because it is in a residential area, it could be mistaken for a house, but don't let that interfere. The goodness is there! It is also decorated nicely inside. The staff was courteous and helpful with explaining the menu. I ended up getting a scoop of cookies and cream in a waffle cone and added sprinkles. If I'm not mistaken, this was around $10. A little pricey! My friend and I sat outside to eat and enjoy the setting sun. Great vibes! I wish Sundae Best offered more flavors of ice cream, though. Options were very few and some were too odd for my liking.

Adorable ice cream shop in a quiet area just a quick walk from Frenchmen Street. The ice cream is homemade and yummy, the staff friendly, and the location perfect! There’s even several tables outside in the shade to sit and enjoy your chosen flavor. Highly recommend!!

Delicious ice cream & great service. We ran in on a Sunday night close to closing time, so they were out of a few flavors, but the employee was very friendly. The ice cream was creamy and plentiful (though it seemed a little pricy - thus the 4 stars). I got dulce de leche and coffee - good combo!
