Great waiter and the food is always delicious! The queso was delicious and the steak tacos was the best meat I've ever tasted at Mexican restaurant! It was so flavorful and tender but the flavors were great!
I have eaten here many times and have been pleased last night. I was very disappointed. Everything was disgusting. Food was cold and service was horrible.
Nice atmosphere, good portions. Was charged a different amount than in the menu but waitress had her boss remove the difference
When I was in my twenties..this place had THE bar crowd..it was called Drinking with Lincoln..five dollars and you drank a LOT

Sat out on patio for lunch during a rain storm. Best place to be if you don't enjoy staying home

This place has some great margaritas! Atmosphere is also great. Food is about what you'd expect. Nothing to write home about but decent Mexican cuisine!

This was perfectly mediocre Mexican food. Taste was on the bland side and the quality on the lower side. We were staying at the St. Charles Inn, so the location was perfect for us given a busy schedule.

This place has a really nice vibe and we loved the Mexican art and collectables. It's quite a large restaurant with various seating areas so you can take your pick. We chose to sit at the bar while we perused the extensive menu. They also have happy hour from 3-5pm with a large Margarita for the price of a small one. I also love that they play only Mexican music which adds to the ambience. If I lived closer I would make this my local.

The food was overpriced for what it was. Their rice was bland. Their ground beef was seasoned with cheap McCormick seasoning. Their beans were cold. Me and my group couldn't even finish our meals. What is the point of calling a place superior and fronting as a fancy restaurant, if your food is subpar??

The ambiance and the location are awesome. It is located in a great part of New Orleans. The service was slow and not what I expected based on the reviews or the appearance of the restaurant. The food was average, being from Texas I was expecting a more Tex-Mex vibe to the food, but it did not deliver. If you are going to hang out and drink and enjoy the ambiance, this is a perfect place. If you're going for Tex-Mex and service, I might would pass.
I used to dine here on the regular when I lived in New Orleans. We brought my daughter here since this was a meal I had right before she was delivered at Touro. It was later in the evening (7:45pm reservation). The restaurant was not overly busy but still good atmosphere. The food was as I remembered - good mexican and good margaritas. The service was slow...we had to wait a lot in between drinks/apps/dinner. But we were not in a rush.
We began with the Ahi tacos, an excellent starter. Each of us enjoyed a different main course- I had the crayfish quesadilla, my wife loved her grilled shrimp salad, and my sister-in-law enjoyed the shrimp enchiladas. We consumed a bottle of the 2023 Siduri pinot noir, a great match with the tuna and my quesadilla. Service was attentive and very friendly.
The food was delicious! This was my 1st time eating here and is definitely my new favorite Mexican restaurant. The waiter was great and service was excellent! Will be going back!
Food was tip top!! Staff was great and the atmosphere was as well. The steak Fajitas we had were amazing!
