This place was so nice. I am here visiting and the staff were kind and the food is good! Definitely a great place to go and enjoy the company of others or just yourself.

I was happily surprised to see clearly labelled vegan options on the list, but they are just so uninspired and it comes across like nobody tasted them beforehand

Delicious breakfast! I ordered the special of the day: pear & goat cheese French toast and I also enjoyed the shrimp & grits. The orange juice was fresh squeezed & tasty.

This was by far the best breakfast I had in NOLA. Went twice just because it was so delicious. There may be a wait to sit, but the wait from sitting to food arriving is so quick! My family had the Banana fosters French toast, the breakfast burrito, the Migas dish, and biscuits with gravy. Everything was amazing. definitely recommend!

Kool little place we found last time we were here . We made sure to hit it 2 times on this trip . Banana’s Foster for the Bride & the Hash with over easy eggs for me ! Both times ! Go earlier if you can . If you aren’t an early bird and have to wait,…..it’s Worth it !!!! Food is amazing ?

This is a must try brunch spot for New Orleans!!! I wish every time I went to the Ruby Slipper, I would have gone here instead. You will still have to get there to put your name down, but there are some fun shops nearby to look at while you wait. The Bananas Foster French Toast was incredible, and the Migas with chorizo, cheesy grits, and a biscuit was excellent for those wanting a savory meal. You could tell the juice was fresh and worth every penny. The restaurant is decorated with local art that is available for purchase for a reasonable price. Don’t skip on Surrey’s!

Small little cafe. The service was okay, the crab omelette was really good. Would've preferred more chunky crab. The biscuit is really thick and yummy! Bananas foster was awesome!

Great little gem to get some fantastic southern food! The shrimp and grits were devine as was the French toast and boudin sausage!
