This is the absolute BEST food I’ve had while in New Orleans! I had the smothered pork chops, mac & cheese, cabbage, fries, & jambalaya for two nights in a row & it was delicious both times!! I just seen this place is closing in July & that is SAD bc I’d eat here every time I come to New Orleans!!

Took a mancation to new Orleans and wanted to try something different. This place is fantastic! Not too expensive and a lot of food to eat. I had the salmon bites platter. It came with fries, hush puppies, and a nice slice of cornbread. You better come hungry! Hope you guys enjoy!! We sure did!

Suzie’s is quickly becoming a weekly stop. The staff are so sweet, the salmon bites and crawfish tails might make you slap somebody, and the happy hour drinks are nice.

Very tasty catfish and green beans. Peach bread pudding was scrumptious as well.

We stopped in for the last dinner of our trip after spending the day at the WWII museum. Everything we tried was so good. We all decided that it was the best meal we had in New Orleans!

Everything was excellent. Well-seasoned, flavorful, large portions. You're gonna get full. Service was VERY friendly and fast. Stewed chicken with Creole jambalaya was excellent. The kickin crawfish pasta was AMAZING. No kids menu but they were very accommodating (with genuine smiles) by letting us order items a la carte. Great experience! TRY THIS PLACE!

The Cajun pasta dishes and hushpuppies were great. Fried shrimp was a little bland. Very nice on the phone and when picking up the order.

My husband wanted soul food from a “hole in the wall” and this hit the mark! The music was good and loud enough to drown out the other tables. The service was fantastic- plenty of refills, condiments, boxes and everything in between. The parking was the only “bad part” but that’s city life! $50 for two meals, premium sides, sodas, and dessert. Highly recommend

We were able to eat here during parades, so a limited menu. However, this is hands down the BEST catfish I have ever had! I normally don't even like catfish and I had seconds. The jambalaya was amazing, the drinks were great and the service was excellent, even during the busy parades.
