The Cajun pasta dishes and hushpuppies were great. Fried shrimp was a little bland. Very nice on the phone and when picking up the order.

My husband wanted soul food from a “hole in the wall” and this hit the mark! The music was good and loud enough to drown out the other tables. The service was fantastic- plenty of refills, condiments, boxes and everything in between. The parking was the only “bad part” but that’s city life! $50 for two meals, premium sides, sodas, and dessert. Highly recommend

We were able to eat here during parades, so a limited menu. However, this is hands down the BEST catfish I have ever had! I normally don't even like catfish and I had seconds. The jambalaya was amazing, the drinks were great and the service was excellent, even during the busy parades.

We were so lucky to stay so close to this amazing restaurant on St. Charles Ave. The best fried chicken we've ever had. The Kickin Crawfish Pasta and the salmon bites were delicious too. Suzie's is definitely now on our list of places to eat at on our future trips to NOLA.

The fried chicken here was the best we've ever had! The chef signature salmon bites are a must. The staff was amazing and the atmosphere was great. We ended up going here twice on our 3-day stay on St. Charles Ave.

Shots pretty expensive, but the jambalaya was nice! Not too heavy, tomato base and flavourful!

Came on Sunday before Mardi Gras and the service was quick! I can't believe it wasn't more packed but I wish this for them soon!

Yes! It was yummy.

We had the fried chicken and rib plates. We also tried almost all their sides. The mac n cheese so yummy and just the right amount of cheese. I had one the most yummiest mac n cheese, I've tried. We also had the greens that were also yummy but a little salty for my taste, still I would return just to eat those. The corn bread was amazing, I was so happy with the texture, as it was not dry. My husband highly enjoyed the mashed sweet potato, they were his favorite as he enjoys sweets. The fried chicken left me wanting more, however, the ribs were not my favorite although they were tender, and had a good tangy flavor. I should have taken a picture of our plates because there was no leftovers. We had lemonade and the sweetest of teas. Honestly I highly enjoyed our meals

The service was amazing, and super friendly. I also took an amazing peach bread pudding to go. The restaurant was golden and welcoming. Thank you to the ladies at Susie's. It was great

JAN 30 2025 @5PM SHIFT The Two Ladies At the Front Are rude and Tacky. You know who you are. You need to get manners. The resturant smelled of Tackiness . The Food HAD NO SMELL when I entered . That is the #1 thing. If I can't smell the food coming from the Kitchen then turn around. If you see Two sour faced little girls at the front by the bar turn around and run 😫 🤒 😷 instantly. The worst part was the Two Rude girls At the front . Tacky your Parents should be ashamed on how you turned out.
I will never come here or recommend this place to my Dog. Pig Or Cat......

I asked, "You wouldn't tell me what's in that herb mix, would you?" The lady at the counter said "Of course not!" The wondrous things in life must, I suppose, remain mysterious.
