Very unprofessional workers and owner!! I order my daughter a birthday cake and the decor look literally like poo! Owner yelling for me to used another bakery next time. Owner never called back and was told that the lady I was speaking to was the owners wife!! Never have I heard any owner speak to a customer like this before!! The left is what I received. The right was an example. it was supposed to be cheetah in the middle. They left the brown icing under the black! But there best baker did this!!

Yall, hadn't had this cake in years. Started hearing some bad reviews, was kinda hesitant on ordering again. When I tell you this white/almond cake with strawberry filling was SOOOOOOO good! Cake was fresh and flavorful. Had a huge birthday party the cake was served almost as a party favor in to go containers, the smell was so intoxicating, my guests started eating it before they left, there were plenty of other dessert choices to choose from. Run, do not walk to give this place repeat business, I know I will! Bravo Swiss, Bravo!

Ordered a chocolate birthday cake , white icing, on October 30, picked it up the next day at 4pm.. cake was dry and crumbly, almost stale. Highly disappointed. I got supermarket cakes that were always fresh

I grew up in New Orleans (moved in the 80’s) and did not appreciate the superiority of these cakes. I had a slice of their cake recently and could not believe how delicious a cake could be. Second to none, Swiss cakes are the best.

I ordered a 10 inch cake for my 1st anniversary and the cake was dry and crumbly. This cake was important for me because I didn’t have a traditional wedding; therefore, I was unable to do the tradition of preserving the top layer of cake to eat 1 year later. This was the biggest disappointment. I was unable to reach out until Monday because my cake was picked up Saturday and the bakery is closed on Sundays. I called and informed them about my dissatisfaction and was told that production stops on Friday so that’s when my cake was made. I was also told that the manager would call me. I was expecting a call that day but never received one. I waited a couple more days and decided to go into the bakery on Wednesday. I was told then that the manager that handles complaints will call on Thursday or Friday when they are in. They never called me. I received a terrible product and terrible customer service.

I ordered a cake for my wedding on Saturday 10 1224. My cake was delivered with no box just hand carried into the reception hall did not have a box to store my top piece and that I’m supposed to save for later poor service. It has very little strawberry filling

For almost 30 years swiss has been my go to bakery for all my special occasion cakes. Well this year I was really was looking forward to coming into town and getting my birthday cake from Swiss .

, I ordered a simple white almond cake with pineapple filling and buttercream icing. The flavor of the cake was nonexistent . very medicore
... The cake texture was some what moist but tethering on the line of sponge cake . the filling tastes like artificial jelly .and it lacked any sort of pineapple flavor ... The buttercream icing tastes like any ole run of the mill buttercream icing that you can pick up on aisle 3 in the supermarket . idk who is responsible for changing the quality of ingredients , or why any one would consider altering a phonomenal product... If its due to profitability , increase the cost according but dont change the formula or quality of the productm

sadly after 30 years I just purchased my last Cake from my beloved bakery ,

. Bring Back that 747 St Charles flavor. For what its worth i could have gotten my cake From Rouses Or Winn Dixie..

Ordered a custom 60th birthday cake over the phone from Oregon to be delivered to Pascal's Manale Restaurant on a Saturday. Sarah was impeccable in helping with all the details and ingredients that went into the creation. It was delivered on time, it was beautiful, served 10 easily, and best of all was the best cake I have ever tasted in my entire 82 years of life! It was Fabolous! All guests thoroughly enjoyed as it was light, but just right. Thanks Sarah and your team for our celebration cake.

Swiss Confectionery is a staple of New Orleans. They are our go to for cakes for any occasion and sometimes no occasion at all! We recently had a cake from Swiss at a high school birthday celebration! It was absolutely wonderful in every way! We could not have asked for a better cake! The ONLY place in New Orleans for cake!
