I ordered the vegan shawarma that came with the hummus, Israeli salad, hummus, pita and also ordered a mint lemonade. The mint lemonade was delightful - I sucked it down within just a few minutes. Everything was really good, but the pita was the best pita that I have ever had! It was warm and soft - I can't wait to go back for more. Delicious.

The food is okay , not more than that ! But the prices !!!! More than Crazy !! 1 chicken pita 20$ before tip and taxis ! It's unbelievable ! Beef small pita ! Everywhere in between 8-10$ but in this place 20$ before tip and taxis ! They charge you extra for just tahini sause ! Please stop using people ! Make your sales affordable !

This is NOT authentic food. All of it is RIP OFF CUISINE from other cultures. Shushuka is NOT Israeli food. The schnitzel rlly gives it away. Beware of where you get your food from cuz this place AINT

We are so happy to live near Tal's! They're open late and the food is always fast and fresh. They have a cute window outside or you can order at the counter inside. It's a small place but we've always been able to get a table (and we also like sitting outside). The portions are huge and it's great to share or have leftovers! Last time we got the mixed grill that had lamb kofta, chicken shawarma, and grilled chicken. This time a falafel platter and a chicken shawarma platter--they come with hummus, fries, and a small salad. The menu has something for everyone in our family, and our dietary restrictions are all over the map. Love the gluten-free pita option, too! You can't go wrong no matter what you order.

I had been wanting to try Tal's for a while and was bummed that it wound up being underwhelming. The place is comfortable and the service was friendly. The food was very expensive for what you got. And needed salt/flavor. I wouldn't come back.

This was one of the best (and fastest) restaurants I enjoyed in NOLA. They have gluten free pita which is such a plus for us gluten free people, but overall the food was so fresh, so good, and so satiating. I was in need of a meal that made me feel good after eating and finally we tripped over this restaurant. 11/10 this was truly amazing food.

Had lunch there today and it was great. Lovely food and staff. Loved the beets salat, the Baba ghanoush, and the Moroccan carrots. The pitas were warm and fluffy.Places indoor and outdoor, both sunny and shady, on awesome Magazine street.

We had a delicious meal at Tal’s Hummus today! Unfortunately, it's super hard to find vegan food in New Orleans, so we came all the way here! All I can say is - it was worth it! Super tasty & you'll feel really full too. I can only recommend it - for me it's the best food in the city so far PS: The gluten-free pita tastes really good ?

We experienced an overpriced delivery with half our order actually in the bag for the second time in too short of a period of time to be "user error" or on the delivery service. I'm done ordering delivery from this business. The food is above average at best, and my girlfriend and I typical order under the guise that a Mediterranean meal is healthy. Their food is oily and not health conscious, but that's never stopped me from ordering before, because it truly is a decadent meal. Tonight, I had an order that was for two that came as a one person meal, with the "pita" being a single piece of pita. The prices are high, but my girlfriend and I work late hours and do well financially, so we order a lot of delivery meals for convenience after a long day. This is maybe the third really bad experience from this restaurant we've had in the last few months. This is not on the delivery service. It's on them. They're clearly not equipped to take delivery orders efficiently. We've given them an insane amount of business over the years and have referred friends to them, but we'll be recommending people look at elsewhere in the future.

Have been a customer here for many years, and the food and staff have always been great. Last night during dinner service, the owner loudly berated the entire kitchen staff as well as scorned the woman working the counter. Could be clearly heard throughout the dining room, and even outside! Tal, it’s inappropriate to disrespect your staff like that and it’s doubly bad that you chose to ruin your customers dining experience being subjected to your anger.

This food is the real deal. I recommend the Chicken Shawarma plate, which comes with Israeli Salad, Hummus, fries and pillowy fresh pitot. Friendly service and indoor and outdoor seating.
