Kicked us out because we politely (and soberly) asked for free water we are legally entitled to at any establishment in the US that holds a liquor license. We paid $40 for other food/drinks there and they refused to provide any free tap water (or other kind of water). Bartender said “we don’t give out free water baby” and walked away. We asked again when she came back, and we brought up that is is legally required, and she rudely turned away again. We asked to speak to a manager, she brought out another person who also refused, and then they insisted we leave. We went down the block to another bar, asked for free water, and they gave us TWO free cups of water and the nice bartender confirmed it’s required by law bars have to provide free water. I fully intend to file a complaint with Louisiana State Health Department and the State Department of Alcohol Tobacco Control for NOLA. The treatment we received from multiple Tap Dat staff members was rude, unacceptable, and illegal.
If you are neuro divergent and need a relatively quite place to take refuge from the chaos of the street, this is the place! The music is a normal level - not normal for bars, regular normal - and the staff was very acomodating. Mocksville was great as well and my friend enjoyed his hurricane. Thank goodness!

It was 15-20 dollars more experience than it should be for a round of drinks.
Drinks only but musician was phenomenal!

Sure would have been asked for a menu or if I wanted food. Practicality been ignored when I walked into the place.
Great place to visit!! 2022
Some of the best service I received (while in NOLA) was at this bar. Make sure you ask for Tuesday! She wouldn't rest until she had my green tea shot absolutely perfect, she was so incredibly kind.
Tuesday is an amazing bartender! If you come here, ask for her! I had a great experience

Cold drinks bruh
Our boy Joe is the by far the best Bartender. This man is the best at his job. He stay interacting with everyone at the bar and makes the best drink. I like Green Tea Shot but he introduced us to White Tea Shots.
Han was an excellent bartender. Sometimes you need a bar with no gimmicks, no food, no music, just drinks. This is the place. I had a great time.

Easy in & out, drinks there or to go! Plus, bathrooms without lines and good bartenders. What more can you ask for on Bourbon Street?!
