ZERO stars, the cashier was rude as hell because my group just ordered fries and drinks waiting on our table at the bspot, she waited until the last person ordered to ask “are yall waiting on down the street” and we answered yes, her demeanor immediately changed and she got upset saying we can’t sit and wait in there even tho we had ordered, she told her kitchen to make it to go and almost didn’t give me my drinks until I said something. We told her to just keep the money but our friends asked for refunds and she didn’t even give them the whole amount they paid. We’re not sure what the animosity was. We aren’t from here and haven’t experienced anything like this on our visit. She could’ve at least asked before we all order paid and tipped her. If you’re not planning on getting a full buffet style meal I don’t recommend.

Parking: I work across the street at Tulane sometimes and they let us park there for free. It's so very helpful and convenient to not have to fund parking, pay for parking ,or have to walk far to get to work. Thank you guys for all your help and consideration! Much appreciated ?

Simple, delicious, and a spot we repeat visit often. Whether for breakfast with the family, or a burger before a Tulane Ball game. This place will fill your belly and make you smile!Kid-friendliness: Free pinball and PAC Man, and the menu is easy.

Wonderful diner served with an amazing smile once you walk in. The food was not dry at all and the fries were sooo CRISPY. The milkshake was one of the best ones I have had in a while. The environment is warm and welcoming and it feels like all are welcomed.

They were rude as hell. I would not come back. I ordered a coffee and a breakfast sandwich on a biscuit. It took about 40 mins to get it. I also noticed a theme on who received their food in a timely manner vs who did not. It gave Jim Crow and you can’t sit at my establishment ( I was told I couldn’t eat at the counter, I wish I was making this up). If I could give something lower than a 1/5 I would.

My experience was awful. They said my group couldn’t sit and eat because one person ordered a size and a biscuit sandwich and a cup of coffee instead of a full meal.

Root Beer lovers, are you looking for an original American diner? This is it. Make sure you have the root beer, it is as good as they say! Angus Burger, Chicken Strip Basket, Roast Beef and lots of Root Beer. You won't be disappointed.

Burger was delicious. Fresh toppings, meat cooked tender and juicy. Fries were crinkle cut, and perfectly crisp and delicious as well. Fountain drinks had a great selection. (including diet root beer!) The tables and chairs were clean (and retro!)
