I hungout here my last night in NOLA. Nice chill place, good drinks, great service. It's exactly what I was looking for after some of the bars around the corner on Bourbon Street.

Just a shout out to Kenni, who works days. Great bartenders abound in New Orleans, but he went over and above to provide us with world-class service and an extra TLC to handle a very minor issue. Owner, you have a real gem in a town known for excellent service staff. He stands out. This place should be on your itinerary and say hi to Kenni when he is there.

I use to love alibi but recently they changed everything , I feel like they have changed everything and not for the people of color ! We spend our money Just like every one else they even changed all the music in the jukebox , not one black artist I will not be coming back again !

If you like dive bars just feet off of bourbon, particularly with a service industry roster of locals as clientele, and a man in the kitchen (Moe) who puts his whole heart and soul into whatever you order… this is your bar. If you like doing spontaneous singalongs to whatever the regulars queue up on TouchTunes to prepare for their shift… this is your bar. If you like getting genuine recommendations for outings based on stories from locals… this is your bar. If you expect someone to care how fancy your dress and rhinestone cowboy boots are… this is still your bar, because everyone is friendly. If you’re gay, or a single woman, or just need a place to escape the overstimulation on the street… this is your bar, because everyone in there would rather fight someone outside than you feel unsafe. GO TO ALIBI.
