I ordered today by Uber around 5 o’clock. I ordered the smoked chicken wings for $19 french fries for six dollars in deviled eggs for nine dollars as soon as I press the button to order it 10 minutes later, it was on its way. The chicken was so freaking dry up. I just threw it away. I ate them few french fries they gave me for six dollars and threw away the disgusting eggs.

A hidden gem with flavor, fire, and fine bourbon
The Backyard in New Orleans delivered big on bold flavors and smooth sips. We kicked things off with their hot wings, and they were absolutely amazing—crispy, perfectly sauced, and packed with heat that didn’t overpower the flavor.
What really made the night, though, were the pours of their hand-selected wheated bourbon. Smooth, rich, and clearly chosen with care—this wasn’t your average bar pick. You can tell they know their whiskey here.
Great vibes, welcoming staff, and a solid whiskey list. Whether you’re after wings, bourbon, or both, The Backyard knows how to treat you right.

In town for work and found this place by happenstance. I ordered the Ruben sandwich, which was one of the best I have had. Great environment and a must try.

The pictures are misleading. There’s no playset or anything for kiddos to play with or on.

This place was super cute, had fantastic service, and really good food! I got the Zeus for myself, the pimento dip, and deviled eggs for the table. I was able to try the brisket sandwich and boom burger, which were both delicious.

Great place for an amazing burger! Flavorful and juicy, tots were perfect too. Staff goes above and beyond and the prices are more than fair. Don't miss out on Happy Hour!
Was not worth the money spent. Overcharged

Needed a good dinner spot on short notice with our dogs and The Backyard was it. Very nice dog and kid friendly space. Hot sausage sandwich was excellent and drinks were great too. Will definitely return.

First visit here, but won’t be the last. Service was A++, food was on point and a great selection of bourbon and whiskey and a carefully curated tap list of local craft beer. Don’t miss the brisket sandwich, ask for a mix of lean and fatty brisket. Sauce in a cup on the side so I dipped mine, made it a little less messy. And some of the best brisket you’ll ever eat. Need to return for one of the several tasty sounding burger options. Thanks Jason and staff for a great lunch!

We found The Backyard while looking for local restaurants near city park. We were greeted by just about everyone as we walked in and chose an indoor seat. Or server LJ, who was being trained by Jennifer (I believe that's what the receipt said), came quickly and took our drink order. We started with the Smoked Tuna dip which was delicious. The homemade chips were amazing and perfectly crunchy! For entrees I had the Boom Burger. My wife chose The Brisket. Everything came out fresh and hot! The Boom Burger had a nice kick due to the spicy Japanese mayo, and the portabella reduction added a nice flavor! The Brisket sandwich was amazing as well. The meat was very tender, and I enjoyed the fattier pieces my wife shared with me. It was definitely LOADED with meat! Maybe a suggestion would be to ask if fatty or meaty side of the brisket is preferred. Overall an amazing experience and looking forward to more beautiful days to sit outside!

I came here after work, I understand they are busy and packed ! VERY UNDERSTANDABLE, but what did it for me is that I ordered at 5:49 pm.
Over 20 people placed an order AFTER ME. Guess who received their orders before me ? Those 20 plus people !!!!
The two waitress walked pass me several times, I went to the to go window where I placed my order. No one saw what I needed for over 5-10 minutes of me standing there, the boy looked at me and did not ask if there was anything I needed and the girl grabbed menus for others who again came after me rather than asking if there was anything I needed.
After a few more minutes passed by, she finally came and asked “you’re still waiting on the order”. Yes! I indeed still was waiting on my order, she said it was 3 more minutes on tots. I SAW HER AND THE BOY BRING SEVERAL PLATES OF TOTS, FRIES, AND OTHER MEALS OUT !
What did it for me was the boy took the next persons order after ignoring me at the window. That’s where the line was drawn!! I requested a refund after this.
I was here until 6:29 pm, waiting on “tots” the same tots others ordered AFTER ME!
They are now on my never return list and I absolutely loved it here before today ! But I don’t recommend this place to anyone from here on out.
Parking: There’s a parking lot, but it can only fit about 10-11 cars. There’s off street parking.
