Not delicious...Edible though. With growing boys that devour everything in the house, plates were sent back with half the food on the. The adult beverages were good, but were served in a tea cup. The outside area is now a defunct storage area with some dirty picnic tables. The company representative at the cash register probably has to remove several pieces of facial jewelry in order to get through the metal detector at the airport, just saying (boh jobs for people exist). Entertaining more than anything, but to each his own. Four people, one set of silverware delivered. Asked for more...one more set delivered. Service was poor all around. If they had servers that made tips, it would probably improve, but they have to fix the food first. Then get rid of the storage junk outside if you're going to let people sit next to it.

RIPPED OFF! Went here for lunch and paid $100 for what?! When we walked in, we were asked if we wanted to sit outside or inside. We chose outside, but nobody told us we had to go to a walk up window to order, so we sat there at an outside table waiting for about 30 minutes trying to entertain 3 hungry children. Finally figured it out! Great! There are no combos. You are charged separately for EVERYTHING! $16.50 for the sandwich. $5 for a side, which was trash. The potato salad was more like loaded mashed potatoes. $3.50-$5 for a small drink or a bottle Coke. The kids meal really pissed me off because where do you get off on charging $13 for a kids meal (we got 3) to give a kid 7 French fries and a dippin sauce size container of cantaloupe?! All 3 kids meals had to come with boxes of juice. Theres no other option.
The brisket sandwich was good, but not good enough to warrant ever coming back. This is the first place in New Orleans that I have ever had this type of complaint. Shameful.

Sat for over 40 minutes waiting for hotdogs and a salad. The restaurant was not very busy. Staff never checked on us, and could have at least worn a clean shirt and not vape where customers could see.We walked out.

Set at the bar. The bartender Eric was great. He went over the menu and answered any questions we had. Restarted with the wings. They are smoked and then flashed fried. What great appetizers. The drinks were on point also. We got the Rack of Ribs and the Brisket sandwich with coleslaw. Went home with leftovers. What great time we will be back.

Called & ordered pickup. It was packed in Big brown bag at Bar when we got there. Ordered 2 Brisket sandwiches, 1 Turkey sandwich, 2 orders of Cole Slaw & 1 order of Tator Tots for ~$67.
- Got home & realized we only got 1 Cole Slaw side, but were charged for 2.
- Sandwiches tasted good, BBQ sauce was good. Can't mess up Tator Tots, so they were ok. But the Cole Slaw was awful! Too vinegary. Threw the 1 order we did get in the trash.

I ordered today by Uber around 5 o’clock. I ordered the smoked chicken wings for $19 french fries for six dollars in deviled eggs for nine dollars as soon as I press the button to order it 10 minutes later, it was on its way. The chicken was so freaking dry up. I just threw it away. I ate them few french fries they gave me for six dollars and threw away the disgusting eggs.

A hidden gem with flavor, fire, and fine bourbon

The Backyard in New Orleans delivered big on bold flavors and smooth sips. We kicked things off with their hot wings, and they were absolutely amazing—crispy, perfectly sauced, and packed with heat that didn’t overpower the flavor.

What really made the night, though, were the pours of their hand-selected wheated bourbon. Smooth, rich, and clearly chosen with care—this wasn’t your average bar pick. You can tell they know their whiskey here.

Great vibes, welcoming staff, and a solid whiskey list. Whether you’re after wings, bourbon, or both, The Backyard knows how to treat you right.

In town for work and found this place by happenstance. I ordered the Ruben sandwich, which was one of the best I have had. Great environment and a must try.

The pictures are misleading. There’s no playset or anything for kiddos to play with or on.
