The food was cooked in old grease. The kitchen skipped over our order. It took almost 2 hours to receive the food. They tried giving a free shot and we had to speak up and say no. The food was nasty as hell.

BEST food, music, and people! We’re visiting from Iowa and thank God we found this place because they showed us the best time!!! Owners were so genuine and welcoming! We came to hangout before going somewhere else and tried their wings with homemade bourbon sauce- PHENOMENAL, perfect crunch, sauce, and flavor. He also made me a DELICIOUS slushy drink with their secret formula 😉 as a base then you add your liquor- I did Malibu for a tropical vibe. Order this if you want something sweet and unique!!
We had to leave but it was so good we came back & had a crab plate/seafood boil (sauce & garlic butter was so good) and fried catfish (nice crunchy breading). Both AMAZING as to be expected and the owner showed my uncultured Iowan self how to eat the crab legs. 🤣
Another true highlight was the amazing soulful band. People were dancing and singing and this was one of our favorite parts of our trip! True Louisiana representation and we couldn’t be more happy that we found y’all!!! The people are really what make this place special and give it the good vibes- delicious food and amazing music are the cherry on top!!
I think I was served by the owner! He was really nice and personable. I would love to go back on a busy night. I was close and hungry and this place had great reviews so I stopped in. The food was good and the prices were great as well! I got this vibe that this is a spot highly frequented by locals. The few ppl that did come in while I was there appeared to be regulars.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We hosted our 25th Year Class Reunion dinner at The Bourbon Square Jazz Bar, and I have to say — this place is a true gem in New Orleans! From start to finish, the experience was top-tier. Manager Mia is a class act — professional, warm, and went above and beyond to make sure our group felt taken care of. Tee the bartender made me feel right at home, and Roc the owner personally came out to introduce himself and thank us for our business. That kind of hospitality is rare and truly appreciated. The food was phenomenal — my classmates couldn’t stop raving about it. The hookah was smooth, the drinks were on point, and the entire vibe made us feel like we were home away from home. They run a tight, professional ship with a welcoming atmosphere. We missed karaoke night (it’s on Sundays and we came on Saturday), but that just gives me a reason to come back — and I absolutely will. Thank you Mia, Tee, and Roc for making our reunion dinner so special. Much love from the Ribault Class of 2000!
