The Bower is a nice place and the food is very good. The service was first rate. But at the beginning of the meal I ordered an iced tea, and the server said, "I'm sorry, but we do not serve any brewed beverages." Huh? I have never been to a restaurant in New Orleans in 30 years that does not serve iced tea. Ridiculous. I asked her if she knew the rationale for not service tea or coffee, but she did not know. I also asked her to tell the owner that I think the policy...

Considering all the food we got it was just ok. The only thing we would re-order would be the lamb meatballs. The pesto pasta was very earthy and the whipped feta was very salty and needed to be eaten with a pickled carrot or cucumber to help balance. Drinks were ok, but nothing particularly special. The restaurant was very beautiful and romantic

The vibe was absolutely perfect. Great music, warm energy, and an amazing cocktail menu all balanced within an organic modern space. Our server had the perfect mix of chill and charm, and every dish hit just right. Balanced, beautiful, and straight-up delicious. Easily one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. Pure good taste all around.
