I have been to bulldogs for too many years to count - not true - LOL. But great beers on tap, pint night it great on Wednesdays and as of today I can say I love the apps. We had spinach and artichoke dip - it was great! Went wonderful with our beers.
Being only a couple years into living here this place is where I've made so many friends. Midcity is all locals and you can have a great drink (the happy hour is the best deal in town) and some great food. My favorite is seeing Gus the schnauzer sitting at the bar!
The bartenders here have been so kind and welcoming. I'm a nomad and they made me feel like I was at my favorite local brewery from back home. There are so many different (mostly local) beers on tap, they allow dogs inside and out, and be sure to grab "The Works" burger. I'm going to miss this place.
