Amazing food and retail section! We got the fried oysters, Cobb salad, Cuban sandwich, and burger and they were all outstanding- made fresh to order with great flavor and fresh ingredients. Highly recommend for a quick and delicious lunch and to grab some retail goodies! They also have a happy hour from 4-6 and do fish fry’s on Fridays!

This place is awesome. Had Boulin balls, a shrimp sandwich and a Cuban. Great beer, great food, great music playing, friendly staff. What not to love?

They staff was great along withe the atmosphere. My ham and cheese poboy was good but my wife's chicken sandwich was disappointing. The chicken was dry as was the cornbread mini muffins.

Update: Just had the burger and fries with aioli mayo. I thought Small Cheval in Chicago was the best burger I’d ever had, but this one is right up there! Simple and absolutely delicious!

Best shrimp remoulade I’ve ever had. Service was excellent and the lady who showed me around was very friendly. I’m so happy to have found this eatery/bar/market tucked between Tchoupitoulas and Magazine on Orange St right by St Michael’s School. The interior is lovely and there is a patio too. The fresh meats looked so good. Check out the weekly specials and pick up dinner and wine on your way home. This place fills lots of needs.

Great little place run by locals. The most comfortable? The most excellent tastes? No. But most authentic? Hell yea.

Food was great. Service was good but could have been friendlier. Atmosphere was okay. Everything was clean and neat but lacked warmth.

Not bad , but not worth all the hoopla. You order at the counter. But Three stars because the coconut cake -which you must order three days in advance - is possibly the best cake ever.

Amazing place! Great food, cocktails, and service. We stayed nearby and visited several times for the above, as well as take-home snacks and meals from their amazing gourmet market. Highly recommend!

Ordered a cobb salad and this is what I got. SOOO much lettuce, 4 crumbles of blue cheese and 8 bacon bits. It also comes with creole pecans, which is unusual yet interesting, but they put SOOO many compared to the other toppings. So basically what a got was a nut salad, with a dash of blue cheese and bacon. AND NO EGG. For $20, i’m extremely disappointed.Edit: After i got over my initial disappointment about the portions - i sat down to eat, and I will say it was delicious. the dressing is really what makes it good. but i still believe they need to reevaluate the set up of the salad. also the bacon bits were hard as rocks and hurt my teeth, so i took all 8 of them off.

Ordered food to go. Coworker and I are vegetarian. The beet "sandwich" I got was delicious but I'm confused because it came on one peice of bread but was not listed as "open face sandwich"? Coworker got the strawberry salad but it came with bits of bacon in it, tho that was not listed in the description. Frustrating.

Vegetarian options: Not impressed with vegetarian options, meat additives not clearly labeled online.
