Food was great when you get it, had to ask three times before it finally came out and everybody else had already eaten. Bill came out after we discussed with the waiter when we all got there that we were couples tried to hand me $100 bill. I ordered the blackened chicken sandwich which was fantastic, she ordered the sausage poor boy, seems like our waiter did not want to wait on us and the waitress he was trying to talk into waiting on us would not work with him. Should have been the first sign. Had to ask three times to have the bill adjusted for our $32.00 two sandwiches.

I didn’t get the name of our waiter but he was so awesome made our first time experiencing New Orleans the best. We are definitely going back and hope he is still around. Gator bites were just as good. LOUISIANA IS FULL OF GOOD HARD WORKING PEOPLE. Loved our time there

Didn’t eat so can’t speak to that, but after desperately looking for a bathroom that could be accessed via wheelchair, not only did they have it, but they let us use it for free, they also topped off our water bottles free, definitely tipped well

We stopped by only for the chargrilled oysters! They were good but pricey. I wouldn't necessarily return for the chargrilled oysters but maybe to try other things on the menu. Our waiter was friendly too.

Service was slow and needed some reminding. Food is ok but no the best in the Quarter.

Check your card after leaving . They are performing fraud and giving themselves tips that are not authorized .

Jambalaya was delicious! The chicken gumbo was good, but not as flavored. The beans and rice were not the best either. Go for the jambalaya, I highly recommend it. As a Mexican it is the only thing I liked.

Service was slow and not up to par at all. Don't order the roast beef poboy. It was tough and tasted like meat that had been reheated in a microwave. Two of our party got their food 10-15 minutes later than the rest and we waited very long for the first round. We had to ask for one drink twice. The restaurant was not crowded with plenty of open tables. Not New Orleans at all. Stay away!!!

It's just not good, all around. There are many better places to eat in the area. We were so disappointed and would never go back.

The food was good. Our server was just going through the motions, seemed uninterested. But the other wait staff that actually brought our food to us were all friendly and pleasant. After dinner I went to the bar for a drink and the two bartenders provided excellent service and were also friendly. I wasn’t impressed at all with the atmosphere, the entire ceiling is covered with flags of professional sports teams and the restaurant didn’t appear very clean. The restroom was absolutely filthy. Actually disgusting.Parking: Paid Parking lot is across the street and a block away

oh boy where do i begin with this review??? lets start with the "family friendly" sign that's out front of the establishment which couldn't be further from the truth (maybe this should be removed until management changes??) our crew arrived with more than an hour until close and made it clear that wed be okay going somewhere else had the time been a problem to which we were seated and everything was okay. our waitress was very respectful and got our orders in and drinks out! The chargrilled oysters were good and the gator bites also tasty! Here's where the poor management comes to play and from the start the man in red named blaine was very unprofessional and deemed unfit to respect his employees. Belittling them, embarrassing them which made a group of two that came shortly after us get up and leave ( what's interesting is he was mad that they were sat and not deterred from the restaurant, but also he was mad they left? both of which stemmed from his horrible attitude.) He took his coworkers into the kitchen yelling vulgar language at them as if they were less than human to him. Normally in food service you'd like to be welcoming and hopeful people spread good words about your business to retain guess for future visits, well Blaine has a very poor understanding of this and has left a VERY sour memory of The Corner Oyster House leading to a slim chance of return. I am wishful that either the owner or Blaine himself has a chance to read this and decide if treating others with this much disrespect is healthy for the restaurant. Maybe in the future his ego complex will subside and bring back that welcoming family friendly fun that was once prominent here. Do Better Blaine...

A day earlier I would have put it 5/5. There was excellent food and beer with great service. Yesterday a different state. Food and beer unchanged, but service poor.
