So much potential Lost First off- the place is adorable Love the outdoor seating But- It needs a deep clean Like a very deep clean Also Less pretentious staff! Prices for wine are HIGH and there's no need for it to be that way Overall A good spot that needs help

We were waiting for the parade, not at restaurant. However the outside eating look amazing ! Plan visiting the restaurant soon.

Very cute place and the bartender was nice. Some of the food was really good and some was ok. We ordered the meatballs, pork sliders, devil eggs, fried frog legs, gumbo, and steak fries. The meatballs were good but cold, sliders were my least favorite it was cold, the steak needed a little more seasoning but cooked perfect, the devil eggs were amazing, the frog legs were also really good, and the gumbo was ok.

Stumbled onto this place when the nearby Mardi Gras parade (Tucks) was going on. Overall, service was okay (bartender was not too friendly). Prices were reasonable. Disliked that they don't let you use the bathroom without paying the $5 cover.

We strolled in here after a Mardi Gras parade, and were able to order from their full menu at around 10 PM. We were a little worried, because there weren’t many staff members, but the food came out quickly, and was totally delicious! Exceeded expectations!

The Delachaise has always been a staple of this area since I first started coming to the city. Now that I live near enough to walk to it I can say with certainty that it's as cool a place as it's ever been. The staff is chill and the selections are great. The food is pretty darn irresistable (just try to sit and not order (good fat) fries with extra (malt vinegar) aioli...), I definitely recommend the steamed Mussels, Fra Diavalo, they're probably the best I've ever had (I'm not usually a big fan of those).Even tf you're not a wine afficionado, they have other things to slake your thirst but when you get a feel for the vibe of the place and the hospitality of their staff, you'll most likely be asking for a recommendation. Don't let the cool ambiance scare you off, pretentious it is not, and there's a reason it's been such a staple in the neighborhood all these years. The outside courtyard is nice, too, and even in the heavy heat of New Orleans you'll find it pairs well enough with an ice-chilled bottle of wine to even things out for ya.BTW, the prices are reasonable, too...

My recent visit on Thursday evening (01/18/2024), which unfortunately was quite disappointing. My partner and I ordered the gumbo and steak bruschetta. The gumbo had undercooked rice, and the steak bruschetta, usually a favorite, fell short of expectations. The bread tasted old and dry. Adding to the disappointment, the bartender seemed disengaged. While waiting to close our tab, the bartender was busy texting, neglecting a customer at the bar. This experience was not in line with the high standards we've come to expect from your establishment. As loyal customers, we hope this was an isolated incident. We believe in the quality of your food and service and trust this feedback will be taken constructively.

don't go don't go it appears so cute from the outside - but....the service is deplorable and the bartenders ignore you and when you ask for a drink - they gape at you - mouths wide open with stupidity- and then hurl mindless and kindergarten insults. such a waste of an adorable space. so many other lovely places in NOLA.

We stopped by after a night out at dinner and really had a great time. This place has a great vibe and atmosphere and is just a great place to hangout. Our bartenders Justin and Speedo (not sure how he got that name) took awesome care of us all night. We did not get a chance to taste any of the food but it appeared like they had some great cheese.

A well stocked wine bar that didn't want to miss out on booze or beer drinkers, so the menu is distractingly long.

My boyfriend normally like to go chill there because it is across the street but not tonight. Tonight they were playing some kind of heavy metal music really loud at a WINE bar. When we asked the gentleman behind the bar about which Chardonnay was good, he said he had no idea, again this is a WINE bar. We had just come from a movie and had decided on indulging in a light snack, because the popcorn was not cutting it, and we were both a little hungry. We ordered the shrimp and calamari, and it had been overcooked so much, you could not even chew it. As we were leaving, the gentleman who worked there had the audacity to ask me if I wanted a box when he saw that we hadn't touched the appetizer they had served to us. We USED to love this place but unfortunately it seems we will be taking our business elsewhere.

Friendly to tourists. Fish and chips, gumbo were nice fixes for empty stomaches after riding the trolley into the garden district. Nice wine and cheese selection. Peaceful outdoor seating.
