Food was fresh, but there wasn't enough options to choose from my friend and I had a hard time deciding what we wanted to order. It was very limited.

I know! It's like Groundhog Day... The same thing over & over again. “Great Place!”, “Amazing Food!”, “Glorious Staff!“ Does it get old? Nope. Somehow it just gets better & better, and as much as it's the food, it's truly the people who make the experience one that keeps you coming back again & again. Like us. Special shout out to Serena, Nick & Kelly for making our friend Mike feel at home. Peace y'all

Everything was wonderful. The atmosphere is casual; the staff is welcoming; the food was creative and delicious. Definitely highly recommend and would return if we lived in the area.

Dinner was wonderful! This is my second time at Evvivia and both times the food was wonderful. The menu is changes based on what fresh food and fish that is available. We all had great meals. Thank you also to a staff of friendly and helpful people. I'll be back!

We had a great first time experience at Evviva and we will definitely be back. The rabbit was especially tasty, but everything was really good.

Service was excellent. Server was friendly, informative, and professional. Food was good, but not at the level I would expect at a James Beard nominated restaurant. Shrimp dish was oversalted and part of the shrimps was "mealy"- they did kindly, and appropriately take this dish off our check. The chicken livers were tasty, but the presentation was unappealing- a dark brown glop of livers on bread slice. A little creativity on the presentation would have brought the dish from a "7" to a "10." The half duck was good, but for what was presented as slow roasted, there was a lot of undercooked fat on the duck. Yes, I know duck has a lot of subcutaneous fat, but if slow cooked, and the skin pricked, the fat can cook and drain, leaving nice crispy skin. I would have liked a few more "by the glass" wine choices, but I was able to find a nice GSM-like glass that went well with the duck. So overall, it was fine, and I am glad we went, but we probably won't go back. There are lots of great restaurants in NOLA!

The food was AMAZING! We had the flounder crudo, anchovy bread, chicken hearts and rabbit. If I had to choose the flounder would be my favorite, but not by much. The service was warm and welcoming and I can't believe how affordable the meal was. I almost forgot, the bundino...the perfect end to a perfect meal.

My husband and I went with another couple and all four of us loved Evviva! Great vibe, friendly service, excellent food. The menu is smallish, which I like because I think that with a small menu everything will be done well. We had the anchovy bread, radicchio salad with fresh mozzarella and ham (Serrano maybe?), creamy pasta with wild mushroom (good mushroom flavor and creamy rich) all before our entrees. We actually ordered all four entrees ands shared family style. This was the best way to go because we were able to taste everything. Best entree was the whole fish with pri pri sauce. Perfectly cooked, moist and big flavor. Next best was the duck confit with lentils, then the pork with chickpeas. Last in rating, although still excellent was the trout with charred vegetables. We were too full at this point to have dessert. Cocktails were good, and the wine list extremely approachable. Can't wait to go back.

Evviva has really leveled-up the neighborhood culinary scene. I live across the street and love their creative, always evolving menu, especially the anchovy toast. Their Sazeracs and martinis are always perfect and the place is warmed by their amazing staff.

Overall good food. Service was spectacular. You could have some more vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. The kitchen was fast on their feet and created a dish for my dining companion that addressed her lactose intolerance. Much appreciated. Looking forward to returning!

I rarely write reviews but my experience today deserves an honest one. The food came out cold, they had already run out of chicken, and it took nearly an hour just to receive our order. Service was extremely slow, but to be fair it wasn't the waitress' fault. She was doing the best she could. The place was packed, but it's clear they need more staff to handle the crowds. Unfortunately, the overall experience just wasn't worth the wait.

When we ate it was a simple, seafood focused menu. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. I especially enjoyed the anchovy bread and broccoli. Would go back.

First time in. On a rec from Scott P and Ben whom we follow online. What a fantastic place y'all have. We look forward to coming back and will definitely tell everyone about you!

I had dinner at the bar alone. The Bartender Bex made me feel very welcome and helped me with selecting menu items that suited my taste. The shrimp dish had all the flavors in perfect harmony. But, the shrimp were mushy with a strong Betadine taste. The catch of the day was salmon. Which I find very perplexing because there is no catch of the day and this part of Louisiana that would include Ssalmon, and however, less than an hour of the road, you can get fresh catch speckled trout, redfish, black drum, some of the best fishing in the whole country. It always amazes me how restaurants in the city of New Orleans can serve such things as their catch of the day when we have fresh shrimp, and fresh fish galore at our fingertips.
All of this, I have to say the bartender Bex And her delightful, cheerful personality made up for everything. Also, she’s the only bartender back there holding up happy hour and making drinks for the entire restaurant solo. In fact, one of the servers walked by and I asked her if I could have a glass of rosé. Because Bex was busy making other drinks. She replied to me I will let your server know. Then poured me a glass of wine herself 15 minutes after I asked for it. All I could say is thank you. It was obvious it was a very deliberate move on her part because she was hanging out talking to other weight staff and making drinks for other people as I watched.
BEX is the BEST!!!!!!
