The Gilded Perch is a great little bar to stop in for cocktails if you are in the area and definitely if you are staying in the hotel. This is a friendly bar with a definite local style, good drinks and great service. The decor is antique, but with a fun and lively flare. You can enjoy your drinks at the bar or out on the front porch.

Terrific old-school bar in the Parkview Hotel. Fun to see the beautiful interior of the hotel! Plenty of seating inside or on the ample porch, and plenty of free parking on the side streets. Great classic cocktails. Friendly bartender! No food, but mixed nuts to go with your drinks if you ask!

What a wonderful bar! The bartender is expert and there’s a nice happy hour. You can grab your drink and sit in any number of cozy spots on the ground floor or the porch. The music is classy but low key - perfect for conversation. A very civilized experience.

Unprofessional and misinformed personnel on the front desk. They answer the phone with an angry "hello". They don't even mention the guest house by name. They don't know when they have a happy hour and when they don't. Don't bother!!! If the front desk personnel is this dysfunctional imagine what the back of the house is like.
