Great service they were super fast with our food and drinks even though they were packed and the servers/bartenders were lovely!!
Bartender was rude and made us feel unwelcome though the place was not busy at all.
This place was awesome. Went here for a comedy show it was great. I would definitely return whenever I'm in NOLA. Drinks on point!!
We came for the Hot 8 Brass band show at 10:30. There was no information about the schedule (no “doors at” / “show at”…) but we were excited for the show so arrived early to get a good spot. Being a late show on a Sunday night, we expected the music to begin reasonably close to the start time of 10:30. That was not the case.
After waiting in the bar area til 10:45 someone quietly showed up at the door. He scanned our tickets but was barely functioning—seemed drunk and was moving extremely slowly. We finally got inside “The Den” and the room was cold and dingy—nothing but a warehouse with chairs around the edge. The stage was not set up besides some scattered microphones.
Over the next hour the band members staggered in one by one—all of them looking intoxicated and sloppy. They scrolled on their phones and bumbled around, clearly in no hurry at all. The tuba player was clearly not a part of the Hot 8 band but that was never acknowledged.
Finally the band started playing ONE HOUR LATE at 11:30. There were no updates or apologies or explanations. The music was fine for a bit but the sound quality was poor and some parts sounded off.
Terrible experience.
fun little bar and music venue. gets pretty dang tight when it's crowded though.
It's a dive bar that has live music and hosts events
Great venue. Easy to find and the staff are nice.
Good food, good beer, good staff! I am looking forward to going back!
A gem of a location
One of our favorite New Orleans bars for food and live music. Excellent burgers, drinks and vibe.

Awesome dive joint. Fun comedy show
Came for Comedy Gumbeaux. The comedians weren’t the best but they were really nice. Small and intimate so there was a lot of crowd work. Great drink prices.
A good time was had! And awesome place to relax & unwind & party!!
