Loved it
After waiting in line over 30 minutes to order food the bartender decided to close the kitchen with the person right in front of me even though there were about 10 people behind me who had also been waiting the whole. I'll never return.
Thursday night show! Small crowd but show ran way too long that some guys rushed through their sets in under 5 minutes. Comedians are hit or miss. Unfortunately more misses than hits. It had some great moments though but not nearly enough. I hear Sundays are better but easily Thursday could be the best if they make some adjustments. Bar was a highlight though!
Sunday nights here are the best!
Awesome fries, really really good! Also the pulled pork was great!!! Awesome stuff. People really nice! If I come to New Orleans again I will come back.
The best bacon cheeseburger!
Saw a comedy show....was great...they were having an issue with the stage lighting and one of the server's should find another job....all she did was complain and make a scene....thevrest of the staff and food were great (Christian Johnson Conedy Show)
We visit the Howlin' Wolf nearly every time we are in New Orleans for live music. We always have a great time and the people who work there are helpful and kind.
I visited the Howlin Wolf for Lunch during a Wednesday afternoon around 3:00 PM. There was lots of seating available.
I seated at the bar area and the person attending was friendly and very attentive. I placed an order for a Fried Chicken Sandwich and a draft beer. The sandwich was just OK. At first, while grabbing the sandwich for the first bite, I felt the buns were cold. This is something not ideal. The fried chicken was a good portion (as you can see in the picture) but I think that despite the chicken wasn't dry, the batter was excessive.
My bill was in total $30 with tip.
Super funny comedy show I went to on Tuesday. The comedians were great and super funny. The bar had some good beers on tap. Very much a great place to stop for a couple drinks and catch a show.

Everyone was really hospitable
If you like local comedy, they do a show once a month.
Great food too
This event should have been free to the public. I saw all the art work within 10 minutes.
I went for comedy . It was so bad . One guy had no jokes at all . He just tried to work the audience but he was bad at that too . Just a miserable experience . Never go there for a comedy show . I just wasted $85.74 bucks to be insulted . Thanks….. you weren’t funny at all !
