DO NOT EVER COME HERE. YOU WILL BE PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED. This was the absolute worst experience of my life. Multiple of my friends were physically assaulted by the bouncer. The venue was disgusting and out dated inside, the drinks tasted like sewer water, and the employees were probably the rudest, most violent, unwelcoming people I've ever met.

Terrible experience. Staff were incredibly rude they verbally yelled at us and then violently pushed our friends. Would never come back.

Isabella Sanchez

Rude unprofessional staff.

Rachel Pournazarian

Literally the worst staff.

After a great NOLA day we ended up at Howling Wolf for beer, Mrs. Wheat’s crayfish pies & a comedy show that was so much better than it had any right to be. There were almost as many performers (5) as audience members (6). The show started a bit late because they waited for our food to be ready so we could join them. Very good-hearted & personal comedy, and only $5. We laughed for reals and enjoyed each one thoroughly.Tip your artists, cooks & bartenders! They work hard and are super nice at Howling Wolf.

Plan to go on Sunday night so you can catch the Hot 8 Brass Band! Amazing show and venue. Get tickets online in advance and go early.

We went and listened to there stand up comedy's show. It was 3 hours of the most funniest stand up comedy's I ever seen. The owner of the Howling wolf was very nice and funny. It was a great place to spend a evening of our vacation in New Orleans. I highly recommend it anyone who likes to laugh. Thanks Howling Wolf. ✌????

It’s a cute environment with New Orleans vibe. We ordered Cuban sandwiches and jambalaya. The food was good. The service was medium. There was no air conditioning.

Came here to see Hot 8 brass band who obviously were incredible. It was a few days before Mardis Gras and it was a decent enough place.Unable to get a drink though and had 2 bar staff for whole venue which, being from the UK, seemed very low for me. Waited for about 50 minutes in total. Your losing thousands of dollars yall!Luckily there is a water fountain at the right side of the bar.Only one small bathroom too for the venue it seemed. Again, seemed very low for the venue size.

OH MY GOD YALL THOSE BATHROOMS THO!!! Please do better.. yall arent even in the French Quarter ? and just because its considered a dive bar doesnt mean yall have to be gross! its winter and I was wearing a long coat ? and its either hold my pee or swim in sewerage? if yall are going to charge people to see shows, yall should use that money to pay someone to clean up after the drunk animals.. i wouldve given 5 stars because the show was great but yall get 3 for making me buy new shoes.

Amazing food, fun staff, great vibes. Definitely see the burlesque show- the artists show their good sides and their better sides! Trixie Minx Rox!

Absolutely chill dive bar just far enough outside the bustle of the French quarter. Had a great time at the burlesque show hosted by Trixie Minx.
