The live band was amazing.

Music, Food, Atmosphere, and service all top notch. When in New Orleans we will surely be back to the Maison. Even down to the cocktail and tartar sauce which I never waste my time with. The Big Easy Brass band was awesome and could listen to them all night.

Staff was so rude, bar was empty on a Sunday and just wanted to come in for a drink and sit and watch band, they wouldn’t let us sit at a table and made us sit at the bar

The bar and music are great but I deduct stars bc I tried to buy a shirt on a solo tab and they tried to charge me a 5 dollar gratuity on a shirt. Thats unethical especially if I wear that shirt I'd be providing propaganda for the establishment and I don't know how much service you're providing me but wrapping a shirt in a bag. I don't tip at Macy's

Other places were good places, but this was the right place. Food, service, ambience, and music were as the kids say “peak”.

Delicious food, good service, great music!

Had the jambalaya fritters, Cajun mac & cheese, and dark chocolate bread pudding, all incredible.

Maison was on food paradise show. We had the Cochon de Lalt. It was fantastic. The service was excellent. Alicia, our server was so amazing. Karl made out pi boy that was exceptional. Our hostess, Quida was so friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this place. Live music, great service, and amazing food.

Sat for 15 minutes before the waitress came and took our order. Then had to go up to the bar to get a second drink after 30 minutes of no one checking in on us. waitress was Mia. Then she seen us with new drinks and told us we had to cash out and leave. Never would recommend. Worst service ever.

Severely overpriced, a forced 20% gratuity, very poor service. Also someone will be waiting in the restroom, blocking the sink and demanding money, then give attitude for not giving a big enough tip - when you essentially don't have a choice. Not worth it at all!

Weird experience.

Ordered food and drinks at 7:55pm. One band ended at 8. We enjoyed the 5 minutes we heard and were in a great mood, even tipping them for the 5 minutes we enjoyed.

Next band at 8:30. We finished eating around then. Tried to order another beer. Was told there was a new band and we had to order a whole round. It was me and 2 14 year olds. I said I purposely ordered their (mediocre and overpriced) food to make sure we ordered plenty of stuff. I.guess they would have been happier if I had ordered just a beer and 2 sodas twice instead of ordering a bunch of stuff at the beginning?! The server said it didn't matter about that nor that we only heard 5 minutes of the previous band. She said there was a new band and we could order another round or get out. I said I ordered $70 of their food on purpose, wasn't trying to somehow screw them out of a table. Also, I was trying to order a beer right then. The server couldn't care less.

Bizarre way to do business. Good luck, I definitely won't be back there.

The Maison is definitely the favorite, and it’s a staple on Frenchmen Street for good reason. It’s a huge, vibrant music venue with a fantastic energy that encourages dancing.
The music is superb and often features a range of authentic New Orleans sounds like Jazz, Funk, and Brass bands. The place is big, with ample bar-side and seated options. The bartenders are friendly and contribute to the great vibe.
If you want to dance, stay by the front stage, but if you want a quieter, more intimate feel, check out the other sections.
It's an excellent choice for a fun night of great music, dancing, and reliable service.

Rude waitress and poor service. Would have stayed longer and spent more money on food and drinks but we kept getting kicked off tables when there were so many empty spots 🤷🏻‍♀️
