Great place for live Jazz! Saw Tuba Skinny play and they were phenomenal. Highly recommend.

We went on a Saturday night to see the drag show upstairs. We loved it! We highly recommend the drag show; the queens are very entertaining!

This is the least friendly and customer service oriented bar on Frenchman street. I used a card to start a tab and asked multiple employees multiple times over three hours to close out my tab and each of them told me that they could not close out my tab because only the bartender could close it out. They had only one bartender working and the place was busy. After I left and came back multiple times, the bartender closed out my card and the establishment slapped a mandatory 20% service fee on the bill. I asked to dispute this charge with the manager and the manager never showed their face to talk to me. Multiple of my friends with me and there were 30 of us, told me that they had an employee attending the bathrooms who were essentially demanding a tip for using the bathrooms. The place was poorly run, poorly managed and under staffed at the bar, but over staffed in pointless positions. The only redeeming quality at this bar was the music. I had a ton of fun and loved my experience here. They featured some great bands that connected well with my group of swing/blues dancers from across the country.

One of the best places in town. The bloody mary was amazing

Their amateur live music is too loud, even for live music. I love live music & they definitely need their sound people to adjust their mics. I couldn’t even hear the conga drums or any instruments besides the drums & singers. They also don’t split checks & automatically include tip. A tiny cocktail cost $14 not including tip & tip is automatically included.

Great place with excellent music, food, drinks & staff. Will definitely be back next time we're in town!

Live jazz :). The food is what you would expect, not terrible but not the best. Service was friendly.

We came on a Sunday night around 8:30pm. They did not card us. BUT they will card you after 9pm (?) as I assume they stop serving food around that time. We were able to see two different bands play. The setup in between each band was around 40 minutes. Many places on this street had live music but we chose The Maison based on how the menu looked. Great place to take a date!

The wait staff staff is untrained and unprofessional and the management is unwilling to be flexible in the name of their staff giving misinformation. Find somewhere better.

Very warm welcome
The music was great, but we arrived at the break and band change.
The meal was enjoyable and of good quality.
We had made a reservation to be sure of having a table.

Went last night for "Dinner and Jazz". Paid in advance to reserve a table but they didn't really seem to care about the reservation at the door. We did get a table, but that's because it wasn't very busy, so I'd just chance it honestly and save yourself $40. Once seated we waited forever to be greeted by a server, so long that the original door guy came over and apologized for the wait and kept telling the waitresses that we had been waiting a while. The waitress who was supposed to take care of us didn't acknowledge us once and seemed completely lost. Eventually another server greeted us and explained that our initial server was "overwhelmed" and took our order. After that it was fine, drinks were good and came quickly. The food however was meh...the fries are so salty which is a shame because they would have tasted great otherwise. The band was pretty good but not much soul in the performance. Overall I wouldn't return, way better venues with better service, food and more soulful bands.

Best jazz bar/restaurant on Frenchmen St! It has no cover charge, no minimum drink order, no minimum age, and no service fees. The jazz music played sounded amazing, but was not so loud to overwhelm. We still enjoyed conversation while the music played. We brought our kids and had a nice family jazz music night.

The food menu is limited, but most people come here for drinks and music. It’s a great place.
