We had the gumbo and biscuits. I will eat pretty much anything, but this food was possibly the worst bar food I’ve ever had. The service was fast and the bartenders were friendly. The Pimm’s cup was OK.

Great welcome to New Orleans. We checked into our hotel and walked street for a drink. The bartenders were full of life and served us expeditiously. We returned to the Schooner a few times for food that we enjoyed and capped off each night with a shot of Bumbo Rum here. Great neighborhood sports bar! Great people serving great drinks!

Excellent sports bar in the quarter. Here from Texas and they put on the UT game for us even though it was only on ESPN plus. Great bartenders and great atmosphere.
How did this place get such high reviews? How does this unethical and dishonest owner stay in business? Ordered food and Arnold Palmer drinks with 2 refills and he tried to charge the two of us for 6 Arnold Palmers .. brought this to his attention and was told that he has to pay for all that tea and lemonade? I've never been charged for Arnold Palmer refills in my life but he does. The most disturbing aspect of this is that he wouldn't look me in the eyes when talking to me, which in my book means that he is a scammer. BEWARE IF YOU DARE to enter this untrustworthy place!
