A very cute little bar nearby the Inn on St. Peter and Jackson Square, with great food and delightful service! I had the cheesesteak, and my partner had a grilled cheese with tomato, and both came with Cajun fries. Meals didn't take too long, and they tasted great when they came out! We aren't local, but we will be back when we return to town!Vegetarian options: Some appetizer options, a grilled cheese, and the BBQ jackfruit sub

This is very clearly a local bar. That said we were not all that important to the bartender. We got the fish and chips and the Schooner fries. The fish was crispy and hot, served with vinegar, they were good. Not amazing, but bar food good. The Fries had pulled pork and were, again, bar food good. I probably would not come back, but if I were in the neighborhood it would be a great bar to get to know people.

I forgot to take pictures, but I just had a cup of red beans (Mondays only!) and the buffalo chicken sandwich. Both were terrific. The red beans are smoky and creamy, and the sandwich has blue cheese and just the right kick of heat. This bar has quickly become a neighborhood staple, with friendly bartenders, cold beer, and several tvs for watching sports and events.

Such a cool bar! Great ambiance and service. Drinks are very good and the food superb! I had the popcorn shrimp and it was amazing. The shrimp were much larger than expected and hand battered fresh! Must check it out while in NOLA.

Finally got around to trying this place, it is FANTASTIC! The gumbo is the real deal, so good, old bay biscuits and fish and chips were to die for. They have really food Cocktails and our bartender, Jamie, is the sweetest! HIGHLY recommend.
Fabulous food! Reasonably priced (the drinks too!) welcoming and great decor! Stay off Bourbon Street! Eat where the locals eat!
