I ordered the Pesto Chicken sandwich and it was delicious! I will definitely be ordering again!

My father and I love catering from them! If you haven't tried their gumbo, it's our go-to for chicken and sausage gumbo! All the food I have tried has been good and it's a local place so who doesn't love supporting the locals?

Last week I had the opportunity to enjoy lunch at "The Store". Using a friend's recommendation, I ordered the roast beef poboy. It was very good. I liked that it was pressed out, melting the Swiss cheese into the roast beef. If you're ever cruising the east side of Vets, wondering where to eat lunch, pass thru "The Store".

Order through Uber Eats and this place did not disappoint! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and tomato basil soup. The chicken on the sandwich was fried perfectly. It had a nice thick slice of smoked Gouda, Crystal Mayo, lettuce, tomato and pickles on a soft brioche bun. It was one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had! I took the soup home for later because the sandwich was huge! The soup was delicious too, thick and creamy! I’ll definitely order again!

Well, over six days I ate here four times. I'll be back. 'Nuf said. But apparently yelp wont let me post a review that short. Try the grilled cheese with bacon.

Excellent poboys, quick service, and fair prices. Salads and sandwiches are also tasty. One of my go-to spots for lunch on the weekend.

Small place but good food. Red beans and rice good. BLT with Avocado was okay. The catfish poboy with Dong Phuong bread is my favorite so far. Next time, I want to try the burger. Good place for a quick bite to eat.

Gumbo was served to go with no bread or crackers. It was also extremely salty and the gravy was slightly burnt.... Wouldn't recommend this place.

It was my first time here & I have to say that I'll be back. I had the hot sausage & it was solid. The Po-Boy was pressed & that was an extra touch that I liked. The waffle fries were fine & the service was good.

Always delicious…classic Cajun dishes along with great salad and sandwich options that rival the best any white table service has to offer.

Love everything we have eaten here. Hubby loves the Cuban sandwich. The meatballs are homemade and yummy. Salads are always fresh. Just wish they had regular fries on the menu.

I've probably ordered here 3-4 times and all those times food was good! I've gotten the "Cuban" sandwich today and it taste just like the first time I got it. French Bread is buttery and crispy (they panini press it), meat: pull pork is juicy (kinda wished it was seasoned more), ham was good. The creole mustard is the perfect touch! The seasoned fries are normal like other waffle fries, nothing special. But otherwise the sandwiches are good! Small restaurant but cute!

I frequented The Store back in the day when it was located on Gravier Street in the CBD. I finally had the opportunity to visit their new location in Metairie. I was very happy to see you at quality has still been maintained. The pulled pork sandwiches just as good as I remember, and the waffle fries were also pretty delicious. Selection of beer and wine is pretty decent, But note that wine is not sold by the glass solely by the bottle. Additionally, the new location is much smaller than the CBD digs. However, it was still fantastic and I will definitely return the next time I am looking for food in the Metairie area.

This is the first time I have order from The Store. I ordered a shrimp poboy and it was delicious. I will refer The Store to my friends and family.

The food was great. This small Poboy place exceeded expectations. The pesto club, roast beef poboy, gumbo, and meatball sub were all fantastic. We will definitely be back.
