I can't begin to describe how incredible our experience was here at Tasting Room! Such a great vibe from start to finish... we will definitely be back for brunch! Deco and ambiance are next level, great for pics! Also the drinks and food were incredible, we got the cheese board to start. Aside from all of this, the service was so great and very friendly. You don't want to miss out on this Magazine Street gem!
We arrived at the restaurant for it to be completely chaotic , no one to greet us or seat us. A private event was going on that seem like it took over the upstairs and downstairs but was only supposed to be occupied upstairs. We asked the bartender what to do and he said just sit anywhere, myself and company were standing around for 25 minutes just looking lost in a crown of people until we decided to leave. It was my birthday celebration and I was expecting wine and charcuterie and got the complete opposite!

Overall, we had a good experience. We could make a reservation online with no problem through Open Table. We arrived and our table was prepared. The location is small but cozy and warm. Our party of 10 was split on the food quality. It was frustrating that the brunch menu was small and they were out of one item. The biggest problem is that a Burlesque show was not on the website. While some of the parties were ok with this some did not want this experience, they also added a $15 fee for the show we didn't know was happening. All in all, it was nice and the food was decent but the transparency was missing.

The Tasting Room is a fun vibey spot to hang with friends on any given night. My friend and I went together and had the red wine flights. The wine was good but I wish I'd made a list to reference later on. The service was great. The only issue I had is that we were sat in the corridor type area across from the bathrooms and that made the germiphobe on me freak out.
our waiter/bartender was clearly on multiple substances, dropped a glass on us and didn't apologize or try to clean up, forgot our drinks, and overall made our party very uncomfortable

This place is so cute. The bartender was extremely nice and accommodating. Literally felt like a guest at his house because he was so hospitable. There are about 5 tables inside and also options to sit at the bar. The cheese board was delicious..and perfect for snacking while having cocktails.

We enjoy coming here for happy hour and the daily specials. Staff are friendly and will chat with you if you sit at the bar. Food is good as well.
Drag queens- i recommend you pick a different venue to preform at. They had us sit on the patio and it had one small heater that doesn’t point at any of the tables, so it was freezing. The performance didn’t start until an hour after it was supposed to. The food didn’t come out for an hour and a half and when it did come it finally came out was lukewarm. They were clearly understaffed and the poor manager was doing everything himself, including help cooking. The owner was there and we asked for another heater and he said he would check if they could move us inside but then he just sat at a table next to us and never ended up checking or following up with us. The owner sat at a table on his phone while his understaffed team worked extremely hard to appease the customers. The performers were nice and good sports but they were mostly performing inside so we could barely see any of it. The performers were great but it’s hard to get enthusiasm from a crowd of people who are cold and hungry. Disappointing and not worth the money.

What a fabulous little local find. Currently doing a local bar hop every Thursday night with my girlfriends, and happened to come across this Jim. First of all the lighting and the decor is so gorgeous and makes you think why would you want to hang out in a dive bar! This is right around the corner! Secondly, the happy hour and the service is awesome. I'll definitely be making this a local hangout place.

Poor fellow behind the bar was the cleaner, barkeep, server, and kitchen runner. Quite a shame on Saturday night to try and staff the front of the house with one fellow. Shame shame shame to the owner.

This was our second time at the tasting room and they did not disappoint. Our server/ bartender was amazing. Both times he chose wines for my flight that were great. He made my husband a perfect old fashion. The board was delicious, especially the picked melon. I also ordered the carne salad which just took my experience over the top because the steak was cooked to perfection. All in all it's a very chill spot for a date night or an outing with a group!
