We were at the Velvet Cactus last night and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere was great, the food excellent and our waitress Sharon went way out of her way to make sure we’re were all well taken care of. She was friendly courteous and provided great customer service.
If you're looking for atmosphere and decor, this is hard to beat. It's like a lush outdoor tropical garden with trees and plants everywhere and nice lighting. Also our server was very nice and attentive. But if you're looking for good food of high quality this is probably not the place. And no it's not horrible, it's extremely salty and pretty poor quality. They have a bunch of fun drinks though, and lots of chips and salsa that are yummy. The food itself...
The food and service was excellent, shout out to Audre our waitress, and we always enjoy the atmosphere. Today, though, it was very different. While we were sitting down, there was a gentleman from the kitchen staff walking around and yelling “ where’s Oscar?” it was definitely unprofessional and uncomfortable since we weren’t the only guest there and all the guest were looking at him. Thankfully, Audrey made the rest of the meal, very enjoyable.
