A True Gem in Metairie! I am so thrilled to have finally found a restaurant in Metairie that gets everything right! Velvet Cactus is, without a doubt, a 5-star experience from top to bottom. In an city where customer service often seems like a lost art, this place stands out as a shining example of how it should be done.

The food was amazing. The service was too. The atmosphere was, frankly, overwhelming for someone with ADHD, and ASD folk need not bother. Normal folk? It’s a great chill place. I love the art on the walls.

We're from out of town and decided to give this place a try and we're all glad we did. Four of us ate here and loved it. The food was amazing. I had the pork tacos and the flavor and juiciness was fantastic. Brisket chimichanga was great, too. The service was fun and attentive. Zeddie was the best!
